What a difference a few weeks makes.

Really decent performance, except for the stupid goal to give away which let them back in even though we were well in control.

Bobby's goal was something  else but Fatawus was a one off goal of the season.

Absolutely  amazing effort.

 

Cant really fault anyone , apart from Daka who did feck all but some really solid performances from the team.

 

Hopefully  that's the end of Faes and Winks as we look loads better without them.

 

Let's keep this going👏👏👏

I have got something to kick off about.

 

at 3-1, why did he bring Daka on, when he’s not going to be here for a few weeks, and is dogshit….. wouldn’t not have been a good opportunity to bring Evans on…. So I am annoyed at that, and the stupid goal we conceded. 
 

 

Other than that, much, much improved. Lost control of the game after we let them score, but in the end regained the control. Did what we should have done V Bristol.

Him going away is even more reason to use him today.  Given we know we're going to be without him it's not much of an issue if he picks up an injury.  If it were 3-0 though I reckon he might have got Evans on.  Though at present none of us know whether Cifuentes sees him as a striker or as a winger, so maybe the striker role is irrelevant in this case.

Statement win over promotion candidates and this thread is predictably like a morgue. We can still do something this season but it would involve the fanbase stopping shitting their collective pants every time we don't win.

Now that's what I'm talkin' bout Marti...about time! No Winks and No Faes. Using momentum effectively to push in key moments in the first 10-15 minutes. Coming out of the half with intensity and pressure. I like it. BDCR and Skipp are growing on me. Nelson is taking ownership of his starting spot now. Still felt there were times when we were too passive (passing backward). We still need a clinical striker and some more pieces in the January window. If Marti can follow this up with a win at QPR Marti will make me a believer.

Well done you deserved it.    Not going to make excuses, you scored some standout goals and were value for it.   I'm just disappointed our form is so erratic. 

 

We don't possess any one recognised standout attacker although goals and wins do arrive often enough from whatever we put out.     McKenna isn't of the same golden touch as once before and finding it hard to readjust to life back at Championship level.     Some of our players today had a game to forget or were prone to errors that proved decisive but hey ho the better team won it and we move on to the next fixture.

 

Can't understand how one week we're looking really good and able to challenge another promotion but just don't perform in the next.    This inconsistency will or should determine why we won't make it back to premier league level.    You did well today, you usually get one over on us or come out on top when both teams are vying to win a league or just battling it out in league contests.

Bloke behind us was late arriving so missed the first goal then had gone down for a pint before the second.

Well that was a great performance (apart from the stupid goal conceded). This does look to be our best starting line up and the players do look confident and up for it, apart from the bit of a wobble for 15 minutes after their goal.

 

Skipp is a man transformed and MOTM in my eyes, but pretty good performances all round against one of the form teams.

 

Things are looking up.

Excellent from the lads. Some top goals, top performances and we continue to look like we are growing with each game.

 

Its particularly pleasing to beat a fellow relegation side, especially one that only sold 1 or 2 decent players and spent over 45m on new transfers in the summer compared to us, who lost 5 players who would have probably started the season at least.

 

10/10 all!!!

Both are a negative, rancid pair that clearly bring their fellow players down and seem to dictate the anti-MC feelings in the squad because they personally don't like him.

 

They don't care that it's about the team. For them, it's all about them.

 

I can't bear the thought of either of them playing for us again and I hope MC feels the same.

You would think with 8k plus empty seats the traffic might ease up a bit for them to stay a bit longer
