But I think the worst part for me is the fact there's not even any rumours going around which makes knowing nothings happening even worse Oh to have another Nicky Maynard 100+ pager at this point to pass the time 😂

They need to pull their finger out and get the new DoF in ASAP though because they need to start thinking about how we're going to proceed in the summer. We're losing Soumare, Winks, Daka, Ricardo, Ayew and Begovic in the summer which probably amounts to about £300k a week. We'll surely try to sell Faes and Kristiansen. The likes of Fatawu, Monga, Okoli and Nelson will probably attract other clubs too. The summer has to be a complete rebuild. A 10 in 10 out summer. In order for that to happen the club has to have a new DoF in place with the manager they want ready to go for the 1st day of the summer.

This is true we'll have some transfer cash to rebuild a cheap squad which may just about be strong enough to survive the championship.

The fact we’re all accepting this is probably proof to how far we’ve fallen. i personally don’t expect anyone as I fear financially we’re completely screwed and worse news is yet to come.

You've got players who aren't really showing any fight for the second season in a row, are on hefty contracts and as Coady has demonstrated won't suddenly become good if they change environment. Who's going to put their hand in their pocket for that? The only sellable assets are the younger guys we'd prefer to keep not the older guys struggling to get game time and being paid a fortune.

Use money to give Callum Wilson a 2 year bumper deal and hopefully get him fit for 2/3rds of this and next season. The only thing I would add to this is; we pull need to somehow supply Wilson with the bullets. Page and BDCR are good back up options at this level, but I feel we'd need someone of real quality on loan for the number 10 position, to replace Ramsey.

We've been cashing in any transfer we've got with the Aussie bank for funds. We will need to sell to bring anyone in. The part where this club has completely lost itself is that Pearson and Walsh had a clever knack of identifying players with six months to run on their contract. Gaining value in that way. We've not shown that level of innovation for years. Dennis Cirkin has been injured this season but has six months to run and plays left-back. Offer a loan deal or something. 1
