Can see Winks, Faes & Soumare going.

Daka going would be nice too but that would leave us with 0 strikers which is probably actually an upgrade

Didn't think we had any 🤔

Say we were paying Carranza £10k per week, even half of that weekly could go towards a decent-ish young striker on loan.

Cifuentes would have worked with Deniz Gül at Hammarby, only gets 10 minutes here and there for Porto,  a 6 month loan would suit all 3 parties. My feeling is that we barely even try

Think the most effort goes into the pressers from our managers, trying to keep the fans onside despite absolutely nothing actually happening behind the scenes- wouldn’t even be shocked if he is saying this to try to prompt something happening

*he being marti in the press today

I think whatever he does will just fall on deaf ears. Apparently Rudkin doesn't even work Fridays which says it all

Seems like the powers that be have concluded that this season is a bust in terms of promotion, but don’t expect to get relegated, so no real incentive for signings.

On one hand, I don't actually disagree with this way of thinking, as even if by some miracle we make a few signings and get promoted, then what, we're not going to be in a postition to improve the squad enough to compete in the top flight, so might as well save now and spend later.

On the other hand, I've got to watch this shit each week and the club not doing anything about it is infuriating.

Doesn’t feel as if anyone at the helm in this window and certainly no long term plan. More than happy to be corrected on this I suspect a hammering this weekend by Coventry will bring things into focus.

It only takes a points deduction to put us with relegation problems. This shocking attitude whereby we think we are ok and we'll go for promotion next season sums up this club. We need to go full out for promotion this season and deal with next season as it happens.

If we're getting a points deduction that would put us in the relegation picture, how are we going to go for promotion?

I genuinely need to be appointed head of recruitment. We’d be in the UCL within 5 years

Surely we hope no points deduction but complacency in thinking we're "ok" could cost us. Go for promotion and if there is a points deduction we could stay safe.

We are all slowly coming to the realisation that nothing is going to happen and we are in for another 4 months of hopelessnes shaded with occasional highs like beating Cov and Derby

Neither of the bolded bits are true.

I have realised since last August and there will be no victory over Cov. :(
