How many wins do we realistically need to stay up?

Don’t do it to yourself, it’s a minimum of 50 points imo. Decent points deduction and we are nailed on.

Oh I know we’re gone. I was just curious as to what we’d actually need to do.

I’d guess something like 4+ more wins

you can see it coming a mile off but the club will be blindsided, again

“We weren’t planning to get relegated” they’ll say after our third relegation in five years.

Its going to take a miracle to stay up. At least the KPFC weirdos wont have a leg to stand on.

Then again they are so far gone they will still probably fight anyone that doesnt worship Top even if we were non league.

Think I want them to go down. Would enjoy league one more and more likely to lead to heads rolling

We'd have the biggest budget in League One. That or be bottom end of Champ with more poor recruitment

People were saying the same thing last season about us being back in the Championship and it somehow being better. Not been much fun so far has it? We'll have the same owner in an even shittier league

A few years around mid table might stabilise things. It's been near top or at the bottom of league every year since the Taylor relegation.

It's happening.

2022/23 season all over again.

Two useless ***** running this club into the ground. Overpaid, shite players sleepwalking through games.

We're so ****ed

In the interview he did, he manages to state we got relegated because ‘we didn’t think it could happen’ and then within minutes when asked if we don’t go up this year ‘next year’. It’s the exactly same thing again and he evidently cant see it

Charlton's comms were saying before the game that they've spent 9 of the last 10 seasons in the third tier, that their season has been poor, and that they need to fight for the right not to end up back there.

That's our future. We've just been comfortably beaten by a team who are essentially upper League One standard, and who have been sleepwalking for a decade.

That's not including the points deduction. We'd need 7 plus if we get a 9 point deduction. We've won 10 all season so far. Just cant see it unless we miraculously sign 2 or 3 players before deadline day (which we won't)

Depends on points deductions. We'll limp to 50 but may need 60+

I'm with you.  We need 60 points to hopefully keep us up incase we get a 10 point deduction.

Only 7 wins needed lol

The problem we’ve got is that we won’t be able to drain the swamp even if we do go down. Nobody taking Thomas, Vestergaard, BDCR, Mavididi, Choudhury, Kristiensen off us with the wages the wasters are on here. They’ll be stinking the place out in league one with us completely stuffed with our finances.

If you take the whole of the clubs history from 1884 we are top 6 I'd guess of the 2nd tier, we've spent more years in the second tier than either the top tier or the third tier.

Except there are about 20 teams above us with less time in the top tier and smaller fanbases. Including several in the Prem.

If we go down, Sunderland came back from a much worse position than us. We can come back from this but it needs a lot to change.
