We didn't really deserve that point at Wrexham either tbh. I just don't see us turning this around. This ship is all but sunk.

Milan Mandaric managed to get us into League One, too.

Not compatible. Mandaric had his faults of course but the decline was already well in place. He didn’t take over until February 2007. We had already been circling before that and ever since we had been relegated in 2004. We didn’t have a pot to piss in then. Yes the manager situation in that relegation season was a bit of a farce. But Megson did walk to a better job in Bolton at the time so it wasn’t like it was just Mandaric firing them!

This fall has come from a place of ultimate strength as a club. It is well and truly a series of huge failings that it is disrespectful to Mandaric to compare him on the same level.

Looking at our fixtures for the next few weeks I can’t see a game this mob could win until April. If you want to make some quick money we are still out at 5/2 to be relegated, which will be massively odds on within 4-6 weeks to cash out even if you think we could survive in the end.

Wilson-Brown is having a good loan at Swindon. Will be our main CB next season lol

Probably will be. I don’t see Nelson or Lascelles sticking around which is a shame as it seems a good partnership.

And then out again and in a much better place when he sold us. Do you think King Power will do that?

we were 8/1 just a couple of weeks ago. The best way to make money is to back us to lose every game. It’s been paying out for me consistently since the new year. Some decent odds with the home defeats to Oxford and the Addicks.

We were mid to lower in the table (15th/16th), not circling (granted we were in the bottom three when Levein was sacked but we survived under Kelly and finished 16th). During the season Mandaric took over, he sacked Kelly, we finished 19th. The following season he managed to get through three managers (fair enough Megson walked out) and we were relegated. We were a mess under him. Not sure why people say different now. Ultimately he took us to the third tier for the first time ever. When he died people went all out for banners and singing his name, when he was here he was criticised massively.

As I just said in my post above thankfully he appointed Pearson. Thankfully King Power (re)appointed Pearson. Without Pearson we wouldn't have achieved everything we've done in the last decade.

There is absolutely zero reason to be confident about staying up at this point.

It's like those wanting Top to remain, it's just hopeful rather than accepting what is actually playing out in front of them.

Not saying we won't stay up, but it's going to need some luck involved because we won't do this on our own doing.

We'll be in the bottom three by the start of March I've no doubt.

We’ve essentially got to hope Blackburn stink more than we do.

Oxford are scrapping for their lives but hopefully won’t have enough.

Dear me what a sorry state.

We are an absolute ****ing disgrace.
The sheer drop off from where we were a few years ago to this, and people still back Top and King Power. It’s unbelievable.

I completely agree regarding Pearson.

I am not defending Mandaric or saying he was good. Just making the point there are mitigating factors. We were definitely on the slide. Regardless of league positions, we were a struggling side with no money, going back to administration really. I’d also give him credit for bringing Pearson in the first place.

All I was saying, it’s not compatible with Aiyawatt now. Aiyawatt taking us to L1 from where we were would be off the charts compared to Mandaric.

Aiyawatt is up there with your Chansiri’s, SISU, Yongee at Reading etc for me.

I can see Oxford being above us by end of March, at least they have some bo11ox.

Yep. Plenty writing them off but could you see us going away to Coventry and getting a clean sheet with 10 men?

Beat us with total ease as well.

The three promoted teams, Oxford and Coventry.

One point which was a complete fluke as well.

Sheffield Wednesday are the only poorer team in this division.

Oxford were not very good. They didn't make a decent scoring opportunity all game. But what they do have is every player giving 100% and putting their bodies on the line. Nearly the whole game was in their half especially after the red card but we had 24 shots and half of them were blocked.

If they continue to play this way they will continue to pick points up.

Looking at the table. Looks like a shoot out between us, Oxford, Blackburn, WBA and Charlton are still a sack of shite who join Sheff Wed. Really not confident we could get any higher than 19th now. Just absolutely massive losses at home to Oxford and Charlton.
