Fvck me are you the equivalent of Leicester fox on Sky Blues Talk?

No. He is on there to try and take the piss. I'm here to have a conversation with the decent people on here. I take it you do know how to block me.

As I have said before I do go to some of your games with family members. I also know what it's like to have owners ruin your club. We went from an owner that put us into debt then got an owner that was much worse. Yet many think getting rid of Top will solve all your problems.

For me, it simply has to happen, the relationship is untenable at this point.

I'm by no means a 'be careful what you wish for' type, the sooner KP piss off the better regardless of what comes after. But given their track record of everything in the past five years - managers, players, coaching staff, especially sponsors and their disgusting eagerness to jump into bed with sham crypto and stock companies for a quick buck - I have zero faith that they won't choose the worst option on the table to sell us to, especially if our stock is further diminished by relegation.

We'll be in the bottom three by the start of March I've no doubt.

Could be by 5pm on Saturday.

You're not a real fan, go and support another club.

come on Gazza, do you expect me to put a tenner on my team just because I support them? I'd be broke. I use it merely as a minor consolation in a desperate situation. I would love it if I lost a few quid in these recent games...

That's the thing. You just don't know what your next owner will be like. We are lucky with our latest owner. Not a billionaire but he has a few quid. A businessman who runs us like a business. We're about cash neutral in the transfer market but he covers our losses. We now own our own ground for the first time in 25 years. We don't sell any player we want to keep since selling Gyokeres and Hamer and get a good price for those we do sell.

The fit and proper test for owners is a joke.

Not bothered about blocking you at all.

Leicesterfox isn’t taking the p*ss.  He doesn’t swear or goad?  The anger he receives is a bit over the top tbh.

If we go down, I genuinely can’t see us functioning. We’d be in genuine danger of going into administration and folding.

Top has already pretty much said he isn’t selling, and such is his delusion and emotional connection to the club, I can see him just essentially ghosting us and letting us crumble into nothing.

If he had an ounce of business sense about him, he would sell now and cut his losses, but he’s genuinely that stupid he won’t…

Going to be some beauty in travelling en masse to a Northern ground with a big away allocation needing points to stay up. Exactly back to where we were pre King Power.

See Preston (A) & Barnsley (A) x 2

A few clubs have proved going down to League One doesn’t have to be the end but under this current ownership it feels like a death sentence

This is it, people don't see how bad it could be, we have a training ground I think we would need to mothball. I think League 2 would be a real possibility, im not honestly sure its something we ever come back from. Is there a potential owner for us who would do it for the love of the club? I'm not sure there is

If we went down I would just enjoy the away trips, new grounds and some not visited for a while. To be honest there is good well supported sides that'll bring good following and atmosphere  to the KP.

Potential good away days -

Stockport County, Bradford City, Luton Town, Stevenage, Mansfield Town, Exeter City, AFC Wimbledon, Plymouth Argyle, Blackpool, Leyton Orient, Northampton Town, Notts County, Bromley, Swindon Town.

Can't find a way that anyone can think Northampton is a good away day.

It's close and if you can't get a ticket, just stand on the hill and you can see 50% off the pitch lol

Hoping MK Dons don't come up, plastic club. Stadium is impressive but it feels like a club that's been created on fifa or EAFC. Always feel few fans they get only support MK Dons as a part time interest, most support a premier league club and just go there because its local and easy to get a ticket.

I agree.

The set up of this club couldn’t deal with a further decrease in finances that league one would bring. We would still be going down with a colossal wage bill, and would probably have to just sell everyone, I genuinely don’t think we could afford to keep anyone, but then we have an issue, because no one will want to buy any of our wastes of spaces for a respectable fee, so we will be forced to sell any young talent we have currently in the first team. We would probably have to consider severing contracts just to get some high earners off the wage bill, and we would have to do something about Seagrave, either sell Belvoir Drive and move ladies to Seagrave, or close half of Seageave down, or even worse consider selling it, and move the lads back to Belvoir Drive.

There’s nothing remotely positive about going down, considering the club has seen nearly half a billion £ pass through it in a decade, we shouldn’t even be in the championship, so league one would cripple us.

I genuinely think it will end us, there’s a very real chance we fold if we go down in my opinion.

Out of interest is the FFP is League 1 and 2 as strict? Just I seems to remember  Birmingham and Wrexham having to tone their spending down a bit after promotion. So league 1 might given us a few years to sort our mess out.

It Irks me that some fans are trying to point out positives in being in league 1. There are zero, nilch, nout nothing. Just a tremendous fall from grace and huge failure

if Northampton away next season excites you then fair play

Again it depends. 08/09 was exciting because we’d bought a complete new squad after years of drifters, had a young team and a competent manager after years of dross. It was the start of something and it felt like it to. Obviously the same won’t happen this time but it can be exciting if the stars align.
