You'll have to do a little better than that, to convince us all ... but if you genuinely know someone ITK, then fair enough.

I wish I could offer inside info on transfers, and the well being of Vestergaard's pooch, but unfortunately an attendance figure is as exciting as it gets from me.

Its genuinely not in my interests to post false information or lies.

All I can say is that the figure is one that was recorded in the interests of Health & public safety and therefore is likely to be accurate.

Last weekend, there was a big article in one of the Daily papers - all about the problems at Blackburn Rovers.      Most of the issues in the article pretty much apply to us.    But the following section was one that particularly interested me - especially the last paragraph.

"These symbols of disrepair and others, including the cursed drainage system which caused Blackburn's home games with Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday to be abandoned earlier this season - have brought fans to such despair that a boycott has been planned for the visit of Watford this afternoon.

In truth, they long since started voting with their feet. A Freedom of Information request tabled with Lancashire Police by the Blackburn Rovers Supporters Coalition (BCFCS) - a vibrant umbrella group of supporter associations - has established Ewood attendances as low as 7,000 from a game against Swansea in September.  (You know a club's relationship with its fans is truly broken when supporter groups are asking police for such numbers.)

BRFC quoted 11,013 for the match that actually had 7,000.     Interesting how their fans have the same issue as us, ie knowing that the "official attendances" quoted are a joke.

I wonder if they'll bring in dynamic pricing for next season with the cost of tickets based on demand 🤔

I expect them to have an early ST renewal deadline on the basis that at best we will be in the Championship but with the real risk of relegation they'll want to reel the waverers in whilst there's still a chance of staying up

23,934 vs Oxford.

20,880 vs Charlton.

Official.

Are you mental? There was clearly more than 21k in against Charlton. I’d predict 28k but I sit in p3 so couldn’t see if Charlton had 3k or a huge gap between N block and the away fans???

Tickets sold don't necessarily count on 'official' attendance.

Its calculated by the turnstiles and whats been scanned.

Like I said, 20,880 was the official attendance for yesterday.

There was a lot more than that there yesterday.

Dunno why people bang on about the attendance figures including season ticket holders who didn't attend.

Every club does this, it's not something unique to us to deceive the public.

Call it “tickets sold” then if that’s the criteria.

Attendance is defined as “the number of people present at a particular place or event”.
Counting people who weren’t there isn’t this, so it’s not an attendance figure.

At the absolute minimum I’d say there was 23,500 there against Charlton. Maybe as much as 25-26K.

Ive heard about some of these ‘official’ or ‘people through the turnstiles’ figures before and some would quote 27-29K at peak PL fixtures when it was incredibly obvious to everyone the stadium was packed and a 31,750+ attendance.

From what I could see Charlton were a few hundred shy of a full away end so around 2,500-2,750.

That’d be a boon for the regular punter that can only make a few games, they’ll all be low demand  Except maybe the local derby with Burton.

It was obviously this was going to happen. A couple of years ago, when the Foxes Trust and co had to battle for tickets to go on general sale and many of us said they will live to regret decisions like those made about pricing people out and blocking people from accessing tickets.

The big hit will be next season. They will have still scooped up a lot of season tickets this season as people were expecting another Maresca year (again was obvious that wasn’t going to happen). Attendances will drop next season officially and I can’t imagine there will be people queuing up for match tickets either.

There was not 28k there on Saturday certainly below 25

Tbf I did say this, our support will level out to what it was 15 year ago between 20-25k, unless we are winning the league or in the prem this is or best number we can hope for it’s our level as a fan base

A lot left after that, I had to queue to leave the carpark 😅

I usually stay until the end so that I can beat the traffic.

I have gone from not being able to buy general sale for 95% of premier league games (despite a booking history dating back to Filbert St days) to emails begging me to come to Oxford and Charlton.

One things for sure, we aren’t going to need a ground expansion anytime soon.

Even back in the 80s when crowds were down to 8/9000 I was never convinced there was anymore than 6000 inside Filbert Street.

My guess was around 24k yesterday. I wasn’t sure how many left after the second goal.

It was more than that. I’d go closer to 27k.

This looks about right from what a few on here have said.

Yeah from what I’ve seen over the past 23 years 23,500 is bang on and adds up to the ‘official’ figure + Charlton end which was around 2,600
