It's another example of overspending on wages (probably), and Southampton, a club in a similar state of disarray on the pitch, hate him for being slow and lazy. Two things we have plenty of and have to thank for our position. If he starts to play well, fans will quickly change their opinions of him and give him his dues. I know it has only been 45 minutes, but we've been here before.

Lascelles is an experienced enough pro to be able to get himself through 90. It’s the stuff during the week that will be eased and managed for him. 1 1
