I doubt it this week The longer this goes the more applications are getting withdrawn.

It’s like a neighbour who’s left her crying baby with you for half an hour while she goes to the shops and she never comes back! 

I’m pretty confident that Top or King Power or whoever is making these decisions knew it was going to be left to Andy King  until the end of the season cos they wouldn’t want another contracted coacd and they never expected a relegation battle. 

Don’t be surprised if they appoint Rudkin to the end of the season now.

Rowett should have been in the door 2 weeks ago (until the end of the season).

What I can not understand is their lack of planning? How can they not have drawn up a list of candidates prior to sacking Cifeuntes? Their level of forward planning is horrendous. In any other walk of life they would have been fired YEARS ago. It's infuriating watching total incompetents at the helm. It's blatantly obvious for all to see that Rudkin and GLover are useless.

King will be in charge for both Southampton games and we’ll lose both.

yes agreed but he doesn’t play Tops idealistic Maresca way so I don’t think he’s the preference. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s King till the end of the season. Poor lad doesn’t deserve this shambolic leadership or completely gutless bunch of players

As DOF, its literally Rudkins job to advise him that playing total football - with a squad in free fall and short on confidence - is not conducive to a relegation battle. You need to get back to basics. Pick up a clean sheet for once. Then grind out a gritty, ugly win and go from there.

 

This is what Rowett has experience with at Birmingham and Oxford last year. Although Birmingham went down under him, he picked up 3 wins and 2 draws from 8 games and Oxford seen an uplift in form as well. He also had Millwall outside of the play offs, before we had become accustomed to seeing them in that region of the table.

What drives me crazy is the uncertainty of the points is now sorted that we now have other uncertainty.

If this current lack of a plan doesn’t make the KPFC believers see just how shambolic Aiyawatt and Rudkin are, how there is no long term strategic planning, no succession planning then I am afraid nothing will. 
 

2 weeks in and not one concrete link to a long term appointment or short term solution. Everything is so reactive, most clubs would be constantly monitoring managers and having their next 2/3 managers in their minds so they can proactively respond to either having to sack a manager or to bring in a ready made replacement should we lose the incumbent to another club. 
 

These two just fumble around for weeks without no discernible plan or direction and then plump for some uninspiring out of work journeyman or some big name with little to no track record suggested to them by an agent.

Agreed and if it’s is Kingy then get him an experienced Assistant in and goalkeeper coach to support him and at least give the poor lad a fighting chance.

I remember when Rodgers got a couple more games (or 20), we gave Stowell and Sadler a couple more games, Ruud a couple more games, Marti a couple more games...it doesn't end well. 
 

Need a new manager in asap and I'm sure the legend Andy King agrees with this.

Why would you think they would change the way they've always done things.

Won't happen. They're completely reactive. Win a game and they will hand it to King for the season. Lose a game disgracefully and they'll start looking. What our two games under King have been have been two losses where he will not really get the blame, so the default is to just plod on.
