Looking forward to the next episode when Top has the right of reply....

It’s clearly not happening, but this is where the Foxes Trust and FAB come in for me. They need to ask direct questions with direct answers that are recorded in the minutes and published.

Some of them questions should be what financial provisions are in place should we drop, and what is the plan to clear the Maquary loans.

Not convinced we get that though.

You mention £100m, then say we constantly spent that much on two players.

I'm going by what your own supporters have quoted how things have gone so badly. Why haven't you quoted against them in the past?

Fair enough, I had no doubt he’s a posh bellend but I’m saying you came into a thread about a video and in your first sentence said “I’ve not watched the video”.

On your last point, life under Top- don’t confuse this conversation with PSR talk.

It's not really an eye opener is it. I mean he's not wrong but it's just him explaining what's gone wrong and he knows a fair bit about doing things wrong so will be noticing the patterns.

Not convinced he knows anywhere near as much about the specifics as he claims to, I don't for one second think he "knows" anything about League One wage reductions, I would share his opinion that we would be far to arrogant to put those into anyone's contract but he like me is just assuming and trying to pass it off as someone who has some actual idea. If he had any actual knowledge or contact at the club he wouldn't have finished that point with trying to caveat it with "well maybe a few players they have signed this season" he'd know full well we haven't signed anyone on a permanent basis so that'd be impossible.

Can’t stand Methven. Can’t stand that I’m watching that and nodding in agreement with him. What a time to be alive.

Fair, to be honest I’ve not really even considered that element when posting on here. It almost feels like just being in League 1 for a couple of seasons will be enough alone to send us under.

It’s dull monotonous, over coached crap. Little individualism anymore, no real standout talents….. gone are the days of the likes of Patel Nadved, Rui Costa, Totti……

Is this the Indian cousin of the Czech maestro who used to play for Lazio and Juventus?

They have been in the Top flight 7 seasons longer than us.

Yeah mostly in years with lower transfer spending and they haven’t had multiple European campaigns.

While he makes some good points, I'm not sure the player wages will be a huge problem in future as most big contracts expire over the next few years. The issue is we will have no players, they will need to dramatically cut staffing at the club say 50-75%, one of the training grounds will need to be mothballed or sold. He doesnt know the full details and is making an educated guess.

Having no senior management in place is also an issue. Problem is if they get somebody good in they will quickly realise Rudkin is a complete waste of oxygen.

Still quite a lot of big earners beyond the end of this season.

But that's been a major issue. Because of your extended time in the Prem there's been hundreds of millions of pounds going into your club. That should be enough to do what smaller clubs like Bournemouth, Brighton and others that have cemented their place in the Prem. But losing hundreds of millions in transfer fees with the wages offered to these players that you then can't move on is the sole reason you're in the present predicament.

The Championship sides coming up have 'limited' resources of 100m+ to make a side to compete with the constant extra money of the settled Prem sides. When you consider you have constantly spent that much on just 2 players you can see where the advantage should have been.

And Bournemouth and Brighton have won exactly what? Nothing and that’s the difference we reached for the stars, grabbed a couple but the cost to sustain is too high. Yes the clubs mentioned survive but fall short of real success. Leicester were not prepared for the cost of the elevated oxygen at the top. And not prepared means management at all levels. Look at Forest last season to this. Clubs with 30000 grounds just do not generate the revenues and after 2016 the corrupt top clubs pushed through anti competing rules to make sure it never happens again. It’s sad that clubs like Villa and Newcastle could do it but are now curtailed.
