I don't think it's the draws per se. You can clearly see that the players are putting in the effort, some nice plays but more importantly we look more organised.

Yeah it's a decent start no doubt. Seeing him compared to Pearson after 180 minutes of football just seems a bit OTT to me not that I want to piss on anyone's parade. Let's hope he's the man to make up for the clubs incompetence

He will be gone in the summer as we bring in the next Tika Taka speicialis, 1 step forward two back.

He's the guy, should look to keep him regardless of which league we're in next season.

I have my doubts with our latest board appointments though. As others have said, it stinks of us learning absolutely nothing and carting Gary off to get another braindead possession-for-the-sake-of-it manager.

Here’s how it’ll play out.

Gaz does a decent job and keeps us up comfortably. Performances improving all the time. Gets given a handshake and a if he’s lucky even a word of “thanks” come the middle of June.

The board shuffles in another stifling possession for the sake of possession type mush, and the season starts catastrophically badly. Lazy; disinterested, as much serious goal threat as a dead llama… all the hallmarks of an immediate relegation. By about September 15th, he’s been sacked (one solitary point on the board) and they call for Gary to return to restore the team to its relative former glory.

Stick a fiver on it… our next Manger is the first one sacked next season, and his replacement is Rowett… probably about three weeks after.

I think he has done that, Winks is playing for him and you would expect most of the other to be as well, having players out of contract and playing in the XI may be an issue though but we are thread thin at this point.

Yes definitely, it’s a positive start so hopefully something to build on 💯

Good to finally see a bit of understanding/shape, energy and passion. It has a Pearson-esque feel to it that I can get behind and hope to see it become successful 🙏

All I will say is, regardless of our views on the ownership and the mess they have put us in, we are seeing an instant impact from Rowett (1st half against stoke aside) in terms of organisational discipline, fight and energy

We have some very winnable games coming up, minus ipswich away, back him give the team all our support I think we will string together some results.

West Brom have just sacked their manager. Good job we didn’t dither and appointed our Gary when we did.

They'll get a bounce now, I reckon

I love how active he is on the touchline. No nonsense tracksuit manager

The moment when he was on camera, cursing the shit out of some players whilst analyzing the game made me like him even more.

“What the **** are you doing lying down on your face, Jordan, you great ****ing plum” is what I’m at least 25% sure he was saying.

nothing much will change unless  we get an ownership change! But not just for change for change sake they gotta demonstrate

they are worthy to own us

Probably the worst manager we have ever had. This squad shouldn’t be relegation bad,  in fact in this wank division any mildly competent manager get it to the play offs. Honking, never the right man, never improved anything, should have got sacked November time.

I can’t see this team even with a good manager get us to the playoffs with our striking options. Literally got the worst strikers in the league which is mad when you’ve just had them in the prem.

Feel like we might be getting a bit carried away after 2 games and 2 draws

I think it's how terrible we really have been. On performances so far we're lucky to not be about 10 points off safety and nobody will convince me otherwise. The bar was extremely low.

I didn't really feel positive after the Stoke game. I do more so after that.

I can genuinely see something like this - only Rowett would've likely been snapped up by then.

In Rufkin we trust.  I can talk of a statue for him - if this latest choice of Manager works out successfully.
