Far and away the most absurd football club to follow the last 40 years.

Sat and thought about it the other day, my season ticket started in 2006, I can’t even comprehend what I’ve witnessed in that time.

I think that’s half my justification in thinking that anyone cancelling their season ticket is just a bit crazy based on our journey.

Fair play that journey might be over but I don’t think anyone can predict that.

disclaimer - I fully get if anyone thinks that is the case.

Why would you cancel it with the season not yet finished?

I know it’s unlikely but what happens if we get a new technical director, a manger we can get behind and we buy some decent players the minute the window opens?

Because tickets won't be a problem going forward and I've lost all trust in the ownership.

I decided last season that I wasn't going to renew. I used to go to the games with my son, but he moved away a few years ago. I kept going on my own but it progressively got more and more boring.

The club will miss the "legacy Fans" Next season and going forward.I'm talking about the ones when we were shit under Pleat......but kept going because we knew we were shit!Levein,Holloway,Megson,Allen........i get that their will be people who support and clap them off after every defeat and that's their choice, but i'm done with this club until new ownership comes in.......and i know alot of people feel the same.

And I realised that before things got really bad

I know what you mean, it becomes a chore to go to every game and we learn nothing about ourselves by doing repetitive actions.

I’m certain modern stadium sports were invented to keep us in our place.  They certainly keep us divided.

Football is great to attend but I do wonder if we really need to get so attached to anything.  In the end it means absolutely nothing.

I had a season ticket since they became available in the Filbo kop, right through to last season, just a two year gap somewhere in the middle when I had to work on Saturdays.

When I emailed to give it up I was genuinely surprised that within a few hours I had a confirmation reply with no questions why, not a phone call, nothing. I wasn't expecting them to beg me to stay😂 but I would have thought that maybe getting the opinions of supporters as they pack it in would be pretty important from a market research point of view?

Again I think this may be symptomatic of the condescending way the club views it's supporters. Unless of course they do have leaving surveys and I was just missed?

I just think everything and everyone down there is so focussed on delivering good news to his worshipfulness, nothing else matters.

The fake reports of 28k crowds, Rudkin telling him 'we getting promote', Gold on the kit sir.

For how long?

Why are you so interested in people’s priority points? Those who given up obviously aren’t that bothered about them else they would’ve kept on renewing.

I'm interested in how long you can go without a season ticket before losing your priority points.

Yeah it's not like if I change my mind in the next two seasons it's going ti be a problem. I haven't even come to this decision quickly either. Could see what was going on from January when Enzo was here.

For context i wrote this almost two years ago and I've only become more disenchanted since....

Ask yourself .... when was the last time you looked forward or got excited about any game, when did you last go to the ground and feel the buzz or the atmosphere,  when was the last time you came out of the ground after a game and felt good, when was the last time you were proud to say I support Leicester City...all of the above will answer if you need to renew your season ticket or not ....

This is it. It feels like more of a chore than fun now. I haven’t had that buzz for a while. But I think this is mainly to do with our crowd being so crap. It’s just a negative, horrible place to be.

This is part of the reason the atmosphere and feeling is so poor in the ground at the moment. People are too busy trying to keep up their points up than wanting to be actually be there.

A match like randers away for example no one was there for a priority point cos it was a ballache to travel to, but what a great trip as 600 odd fans who wanted to enjoy the experience.

I am a sucker for FOMO so il probably keep my ticket even if I dont go to most matches.

I understand thats massively whats wrong with our fanbase, and I apologise, but not sure i am ready to throw in the season ticket just yet.

Good memories are still too vivid even if I despise the club right now.

Just making convo because you’re quizzing people on their points, when in reality no one who’s given up cares that much about them.

I have 2 season tickets and have had for 30 years +. It's a small fortune for me on something I get nothing out of anymore - I don't recognise our club

I would have packed it a few years ago but the new section has kept me going although even they have had the life sucked out of them with this board and this group of players.

At the moment there is not one good reason I can think of to renew apart from blinding stupid loyalty but at some point you have to turn away when you're being metaphorically kicked in the face

How have you managed to keep two?! I had two and was forced to transfer my second to another name during Covid.

Same. And the money difference is also significant.
