I actually thought Nelson had a better game last night but I find it fascinating how bad his headers can be at times.

50p head or what haha

He seems to get too under the Ball and heads it with the top of his Head instead of the Forehead.

One thing I’ve noticed is how common booing at full time is now.

Was surprised to hear their fans booing.

You'll watch a random EFL game and you’re likely to hear boos at full time.

Arsenal fans have booed their team at times this season. You're right. Collectively, crowds seem quicker to voice their dissatisfaction.

And quite rightly so given the dross that is served up from players who are paid very handsomely.

Joe Aribo is ****ing garbage…. That’s one thing you can say.

He probably is, but he’s not had much action and when he has for us it’s not been in a position I imagine he’d say is his favourite.

It was notable that after coming on last night on the left hand side, Rowett didn’t really like what he was seeing and ended up bringing on Page to play there and shifting Aribo central.

Thinking back to that assault by Targett on Abdul, how on earth was that not a yellow card!!!
Abdul had just come on, everyone knows of his reputation as skilful and match changer, and hard man T does the old “leave one on him” and “let him know he’s in a game” Neanderthal 1970s approach of taking him out at thigh height!

That could have easily caused a serious injury, or aggravated the recent injury with Abdul just having come off the bench.

Think thats come about thanks to the way that football has kind of eaten itself.

Football clubs have actively tried to alienate and replace loyal working class supporters, who wanted to stand on old terraces, with a bunch of wealth day trippers. That combined with the cost of a ticket and the amounts that players are paid, there a disconnect. Its an entertainment business and if fans are paying top notch they expect to be entertained. Its not the old era where fans would be connected with the club and back players who would give their all. In my opinion football is in trouble as the product the executives and tv companies want and the product the real fans want are 2 different things, football without real fans is a much degraded product.

The last point is spot on. The greed of the Super League ignored what got the product to where it is now.

The Boro commentators were laughing at how he clearly had some dirt on the ref as it was clearly the only way he got away with it.
