Hello from a Bristol City fan.

 

Ahead of our forthcoming game on Tuesday I’m putting together the opening post for our forum’s (One Team in Bristol, https://www.otib.co.uk/?_fromLogin=1) match thread, which will be posted the day before the match.

 

I would like to include some perspectives from your fans so if anybody would like to share info please do, anything would be appreciated, fans thoughts about the game, players who have represented both clubs, tales from when we’ve met previously, a fans view on your season, etc.

Andy King & Matty James played for both from recent memory. As far as the game goes, just rock up and take the piss, everyone else does 👍🏼

We are absolutely ****ing shit….. that’s probably about all you need to know. 
 

In short, guaranteed three points, bring a thermos flask and some sarnies with you too, seems to be the flavour we get at the KP these days, if you’re coming to the game of course……. And bring some snacks, unless you like over priced soggy pukka pies and flaccid sausage rolls?

A game between 2 teams whose fans (well the ones with at least half a brain), really really dislike their owners and DoF (or equivalent).

 

Bristol City have 1 fit centre back yet Leicester have 0 fit or unfit strikers to take advantage. 

 

Comfortable 2 0 away win.

Since this game I've always disliked / but respected Bristol City, but what a player you had on the day, Dariusz Dziekanowski. This was the first FA cup game I can remember, and we were always crap in the cup until 2021.

 

Also Russell Osman here after he was at Leicester.

 

I can also remember; Chris Weale, Neil Danns, Danny Simpson, Julian Watts, Nathan Blake, Filip Benkovic (unsure he actually ever played for us?) Andy King, Matty James, Ade Akinbiyi & Chris Wood.

When you asked this before our visit to Ashton Gate in December, I said:

 

"Hi, mate. This is how things are from our perspective. Essentially, we've been garbage all season apart from the odd wonder goal, the occasional 30 minutes of good play and Jordan James. Our fanbase detest most of our players and many of those players hardly give a sh1t, despite being paid obscene wages that they don't deserve. Oh, and despite raising about £400m in transfer sales over the past 7 or 8 years, we're in such massive trouble with PSR that we're going to get a points deduction and can't afford to sign any players. But other than that, it's all going swimmingly."

Also scored a hat-trick against Wolves in 1975 which helped us avoid relegation that season.
