I dont believe that anything is going to change now. What have we won 1 or 2 since January? That is not suddenly going to change, we are done. Id say staking your life savings on oppositions win or draw and over 1 goal conceded is a pretty safe bet for the remaining 5 games.

I've done a game by game predictor and i've got us and Pompey going down with Cov and Milwall going up.

 

I think we will end up having to go to Blackburn and winning and hoping that Oxford lose.

 

I think Oxford will lose to Milwall on the last day but we won't beat Blackburn.

Even though I walked out of Hillsborough pissed off as that was an awful result for us.

Portsmouth have a real tough run of games, I am clinging onto that, we simply need to win at Fratton Park.

I think it would. Again, this is me being really optimistic here.

 

Portsmouth are 1 point above us with their remaining games: Middlesbrough A, Ipswich H, Leicester H, Coventry A, Stoke A, Birmingham H. So with me predicting we will win at Fratton Park I think they will get 3 points max from those games (potentially from beating Birmingham).

Oxford are level points with us with their remaining games: Watford H, Derby A, Wrexham H, Wednesday H, Millwall A (again I think 3 points, possibly from Wednesday H, possibly 4 with a point against Watford or Wrexham).

I think for the first time all season we've been unlucky over the past few games. Performances have picked up but results haven't - I'm pretty pessimistic about us generally but I think the idea we just won't win again is a bit silly. Swansea are on the beach and Portsmouth are somehow in worse from than us. We're typically better when teams are more open against us, Millwall and Hull will need results.

 

We're a gutless team and given our record it's hard to back us but it isn't over, we've outshot our last 3 opponents which is the first time we've done that since October-November.

 

That being said, with how futile this era is we'll lose to Portsmouth and Blackburn but pick up a wins when it doesn't matter as much.
