A point from Swansea then 4 defeats. We're effectively down when Pompey beat us and confirmed 2nd bottom when Oxford beat Wednesday.

We should be grateful for the Hillsborough shambles.

Tbf I think our performances of late merit more than they have, should have beat Preston, Watford, Wednesday comfortably off the top of my head based on the games. Do think we win at least 1 more this year, we just have to stop this habit of shipping really silly goals when we score and only defending for a full(ish) 90 when our attack can’t be arsed

I don’t know about the results and permutations but I have a feeling we will be playing Blackburn needing to win to stay up and hope other results go our way.

There’s symmetry there from 2 year’s previous when we were on the p**s and they needed a win and results to stay up themselves. They beat us at home 0-2 to stay up and sent Birmingham down.

LCFC 1-1 Swansea

Pompey 2-1 LCFC

LCFC 0-2 Hull

LCFC 2-4 Millwall

Blackburn 1-1 LCFC

2 points from 15 sadly not enough

If we were going to win another game, the chance came and went this weekend gone. I don’t think we’ll suddenly lose the lot but we have become draw specialists.

Swansea - draw

Portsmouth - loss - they will want it more

Hull - draw

Millwall - loss

Blackburn - draw

Portsmouth apparently have a host of injury problems, with a couple set to miss the rest of the season.

We have a bunch of players that are inept

And Oxford?  None of this matters if we keep playing for draws

We’ll lose to Pompey, other than that I don’t know. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we win our last three when it’s already too late.

I think us being down with three games to play would need Portsmouth to beat both Middlesbrough and Ipswich, as well as West Brom winning and us losing everything. The us losing everything bit is perfectly possible, but the rest sounds unlikely.

Yeah I reckon we will too.

I’m not saying we’d be down already but I can see a scenario where Pompey only need 3 or 4 points to stay up from their final 3 games. At which point we’d decide to start playing…

I think anyone hoping for a quick death is going to be disappointed. This is going to drag on until the last day.

I guess we will see how much Coventry want to see us out of the league with their team line up vs Pompey...

eh, their fans might want it but Lampard and the players will be focused on promotion and a league title, not relegating another club.

Ah, I get you.

Yes, that would be bloody typical.

Totally clutching at straws, but I think the best we can hope for is

Swansea - Draw

Portsmouth - Win

Hull - Loss

Milwall - Loss

Blackburn - Win

with Pompey only picking up one point on the final day against Birmingham, Oxford winning just once from the remaining 5 against Wednesday.

Leicester - 48

-------------------

Oxford - 44

Pompey - 42

Wednesday -5

Quicker its over, the quicker we can move on, full reshape of the club from Top (literally) to bottom
