It’s such a shame because this is our chance to refresh and move on. We are being left behind in the 2010’s, even Man City themselves are moving away from that style. Tactics move in 5 year cycles and we are stuck a cycle back, will be two over the next few years I’m sure

I wonder if leuven play this way as well?

Play the youth until the end of the season. Start the rebuild now

Why do that when Winks and Ayew can play

Stage one needs to be first thing Wednesday after relegations confirmed is a list of players being released at when contracts expire, what youth players have been offered new deals and that the ‘senior pros are up for sale’.

then we need a manager in place before the end of May(preferably sooner), so they can have a month in post before pre season starts and our signings if any need to mainly be done by end of July to form a new squad. Anyone not expected to be here at en of transfer window, bin them off to a 5 a side on kids pitch’s for training on their own.

only players willing to put effort in will be in ‘first team training’.

can’t see any of the above or time scales happening though! Sad

Agree with all that but can’t see Top and Rudkin doing that. Manager will be a couple of days before preseason finished and any transfers just before window closes

I expect Rudkin will be on holiday through to end of June, manager will be appointed deliberately late to avoid squad rebuild, and most of transfer business will be in last 72 hours. :(

Top won’t be doing anything in May / June.

King Power have the Cartier Queens Cup to focus on.

All effort must go into the polo team after the Blackburn game.

Dynamo had to take voluntary relegation to step 7 so for that to happen we’d have to loose to a bunch of students at Loughborough University.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not ruling it out 🤣

I've been on this forum about 18 years and you're one of the most chilled out down to earth posters who I hold in high esteem  and I would probably say 99% of the forum do.

For you to be so disgusted  by our club speaks volumes.

Sad times so many loyal supporters feel like us🙁

It's about the only stable thing at the club  well apart from Rudkins continuing presence.

HA I must be hiding it well I've been pissed off with LCFC as KPFC for 3 years or more with their suicidal decision making. Just sitting in the stadium and seeing the lack of anything LCFC does me. Approaching it it looks like KP's headquarters. :mad:

I actually  said this in my email to the club when I told them about my decision  not to renew after 32 years.

No images of legendary players nothing showing THAT win, no Linekar,Morgan,Kasper, and no Vardy our GOAT...BUT we have the statue forever more...

I respectfully say they should move the statue to the memorial garden where it would be much more appropriate but we're never going to have a statue of an LCFC great when we've hardly got any references to it being LCFC. Even the new hangings are mostly dates which many youngsters and newbies will have no idea of their relevance.

You'll all be in disbelief at some of the stuff you'll see next season.

We’ve been watching in disbelief for a while…

Proper club Sunderland, probably the best fans/atmosphere in the country imo.  Best of luck next season, hope you stay above Newcastle.

It will get better. It just takes time. You just have to believe it can.

Well you know. I dunno what to say I’m at the point where if you don’t laugh you’ll cry.

I’ve done my bit where I could using what I was capable of doing so my conscious Is clear and what will be will be now.

As a Mackem, do you think it's entirely a coincedence that both your clubs and ours have done the back to back double relegation, off the back of horrific recruitment, and we both happen to have employed both Lee Congerton and Martyn Glover as recruitment guys in the run up to that? Were this gruesome twosome just as bad at your place, or was it some other bods more to blame?

Much appreciated feel free to shed some tears of laughter or sadness in the security of your home and resurrection will surely occur.

I’m not sure if anyone else has realised this.

If (when) we do not finish first next season, that will be the lowest finish in the history of Leicester City Football Club.

We have only played at this level once and we finished 1st.

So that would have been 45th in the pyramid?

I’m not entirely sure if that’s sincere or double edged Davie.

In case it’s the latter, first off very funny , I’ve had enough of public debates so if you want to know the circumstances which led to me taking that conclusion please do DM me I’d be happy to speak to you about it.

Yep, I’ve been mentioned it for a while. And deservedly so. Pearson’s 2008-2009 side were far too good and would give this current side a pasting (even if many of them are in their 50’s now)!

Aiyawatt deserves to be in charge when that title is taken next season. And it will as there is no chance we are winning that league.
