Everyone wants this to happen, of course, but the timing is an insult and nothing more than a distraction from the fact the club is currently falling apart.

On a personal note, I would be most interested in seing Schmeichel, Mahrez & Vardy - I doubt any of those will feature.

You've also got the likes of Chilwell who i know people wouldn't want to see back here, but like it or not was a big part of that season.

Ive got little interest in seing Ben Hamer and Liam Moore.

I think the overall factor is, the thought is great, but theres zero trust the club would do it justice. It will be an anti climax.

In reality its just going to be the same group of players that keep doing the sh1t Q&A's.

He didn't play did he?

https://www.lcfc.com/media-article/leicester-city-premier-league-title-win-anniversary-match-support-local-causes-charity-lcfc

Leicester City will mark the 10-year anniversary of our 2016 Premier League title with a charity match at King Power Stadium this May, raising funds through the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation.

Members of the title-winning squad will return to Filbert Way on Saturday 30 May as part of a Leicester City Legends team, managed by Claudio Ranieri and captained by Wes Morgan, to face an All Star XI featuring several familiar names from that season.

Net proceeds from the event will support Leicester City in the Community and its work across Leicester and Leicestershire, helping to address some of the most pressing challenges facing local communities, including mental health and physical inactivity.

Through early support for children and young people, safe spaces for adults, mentoring and access to sport, Leicester City in the Community continues to make a meaningful difference to thousands of lives each year.

Leicester City Chief Executive Kevin Davies said: “2026 marks an important anniversary in the Club’s history and it is right that we recognise it in a way that brings people together.

“This season has presented its challenges and we know there is work ahead. Moments like this are an opportunity to reflect on what the Club represents and to carry that forward.

“Through the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and Leicester City in the Community, we are able to connect that history with a positive impact in our communities, which is an important part of this Club’s identity.”

Premier League-winning captain Wes Morgan said: “As a group, we’ve been talking about a 10-year reunion for some time and the best way to mark the anniversary. This gives us a chance to come back together as players and staff, but also to reconnect with the fans and recognise the role they played in that season.

“The response from the boys has been excellent and we’re all looking forward to being back at King Power Stadium again and raising money for a cause that makes a real difference to the lives of people in Leicester.”

Leicester City’s 2015/16 title-winning season remains one of the most remarkable achievements in English football, capturing the imagination of supporters across the world and creating memories that continue to resonate throughout the game.

The return of the players involved will form the centrepiece of a day that brings together fans, former players and staff in support of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and Leicester City in the Community.

Further details, including ticket information and confirmed participants, will be announced in due course. Supporters are encouraged to visit LCFC.com or download the LCFC App for the latest updates.

Supporters can click here to register their interest for hospitality packages.

While Rome burns and all that, don't worry, the Board will be staging a car boot sale over at the Royal Infirmary where certain items will be made available for free to members 'of the community,' care of the Vichai Foundation and hey, that's not all folks! Get on down to the party with the those PL title winning players from 2016 in a legends match.....don't worry about League 1 and two relegations on the bounce. Cheer up and have some free Thai curry, courtesy of the Foundation. We just love taking the piss out of our own fans.

Interesting shout… was he the main cheerleader in the dressing room or something?

My punditry career was never really going to take off was it?

Your right...pretty sure he was at the club? Guess it might have been just before his break through.

I am not even going to try and argue my point on this, i'll just log off and reappear tonight to moan about the hull game.

No, I was just testing your knowledge on the title winning season.

So announcing this at any point over the last 3 years then…

No, more so 24hrs before our relegation is confirmed.

This will sell out.

Pretty torn on this one too. The players from that season deserve a legends welcome and to rightly be celebrated.

The club and the owner absolutely do not, and yet Aiyawatt will try to make it about Aiyawatt.

I'm not surprised by this - KP have been "dining out" on this for the past ten years, allowing them, and the media, to avoid criticism about bad decision after bad decision.

What is annoying is that I, and many fans, would love to go if it was purely about celebration and commemoration of the players and manage/staff at that time, but the current situation and feelings towards the club will at the very least make it very mixed!

Chilwell didn't play in the title winning team that season. He was on loan with Huddersfield from us from 19 November, 2015 and then returned to the KP on Jan 3, 2016.

He then joined Chelsea for 40 million in August 2020.

He's currently plying his trade with Strasbourg.

If the players do really care about the club they won't have anything to do with this.

They will do though, getting rather fed up of hearing from them saying they dont know how its got like this. Albrighton at it every week.

At this point I honestly think not being a fan is part of the club's hiring criteria.

I worked for the club around 25 years ago and although obviously not enforceable it was a preference that you didn’t support the football club

Schmeichel certainly won’t be playing. Had 2 big shoulder operations.

The 10 years anniversary since we played Atlético in the quarter finals of the champions league is going to be a special one just before we announce confirmation of our place in the English League 2 for the 27/28 season

Don't understand. People moaned that nothing was happening about celebrating 10 years but are now moaning something is happening.

I never could care less either way if I'm honest.

Anyone going is complicit in pandering Aiyatwatt and Rudkin.

Can you supply the evidence of the same people moaning about nothing happening and something now happening?

It’s a ploy / deflection tactic to announce this on the eve on our likely relegation. The club is run by duplicitous ****, that treat the fans with contempt. I thought that much was obvious, most people see right through this now

Apologies if this has been said already but the charity being the "Vichai Foundation" again really bothers me. I feel like we have zero visibility of where this money goes once it is collected. Could anyone tell me about a project it has supported?

Would much rather it went direct to LOROS or the likes. Charities you can actively see doing good work.

Edit: more information

£2.2m Income

£2.1m Expenditure

On what though?
