Why so aggressive to someone who has a different view to you? He/she doesn’t have to explain or justify themselves to you or anybody else.

I think the message being responded to was pretty aggressive, actually. If you start off any encounter by calling multiple people (in fact, the whole fanbase) hateful, and accusing them of wallowing in self-pity, then it's probably reasonable to expect a response. The poster came across as someone who detested Leicester City fans which, logically speaking, gives the impression that whatever they're a fan of, it isn't Leicester City. So I thought the response was relatively polite.

In life in general, if you make a point you have to back it up with some kind of justification. If you can, it's a fully-formed opinion. If you can't, it's just posturing and chest-thumping. Somebody wrote something which was aggressive, baseless and a bit dumb. They can either leave it there or try to prove that there's more to them and their stance.

And no, stating how long they've been a going to games doesn't count. My dad's been going since the 1950s and he still maintains that Mark McGhee was the architect of O'Neill's success, so it clearly means nothing (to his credit though, he does at least try his best to justify his opinion. He argues well, even if he's obviously wrong).

But maybe some people aren't capable of justifying their viewpoint at all. Or maybe even they know that it doesn't make sense. For that reason, I'd like more of these KP loyalists to come on here and, instead of just saying 'you're all bloody fairweather fans' then sodding off, actually form a coherent argument. Some may well be reasonably convincing, but I have a feeling that in most cases it's a stance which - when subjected to reason - will dissolve on contact.

Cheers, I was trying to be a lighthearted and tongue in cheek with both of them.

And like you said I was trying to get some sort of explanation of why those who are wanting changes standpoint's are so abhorrent to the KPFC brigade.

But instead the replies were mildly aggressive, still following the "we are right because we back the lad's and are superfans because we clap the club's and players failures" theme.

I'm still without a clue as to why they follow their reasoning, every one of them is so damn secretive.

Those who want change when they post their "gripes"  then backup them up and qualify them.  - "I just don't understand the Happy Clapping KPFC , because its madness to condon failures by clapping  etc, etc.

I have a failure of posting 'a tad on the long side', but it's because I back my reasoning up with why's

The only thing I can think of that was possibly taken as a smidge 'heated' was the sarcastic joke of

'You need to be quick as I'm running out of time.

I need to put my order in at the local printer for a T-Shirt.. it says.

"KPFC won't let me join, as I won't clap failure"

I suspect the gaps in the Champion's team will be taken up by a few academy players and may be the FA Cup winners.

Still waiting for your reasoning my friend,

Here's a quick reminder of what you said

You need to be quick as I'm running out of time.

I need to put my order in at the local printer for a T-Shirt.. it says.

"KPFC won't let me join, as I won't clap failure"

Sorry, I can't argue with lard.

Well of course you can't.

Lard is a rendered, semi-solid white cooking fat derived from a pig, so it's not a sentient being with the ability to communicate and have adult debate on a football forum

Well I'm not the one who's childishly refering to another poster on the forum as 'Lard' and therefore unable to 'argue with them' am I?

I'm also not the one who's insulting fans who have identified the fact that the owner, and the board have failed hideously for the 5 or 6 seasons and that 95% of the players couldn't care less and have displayed as much hence our football being played in league one, as a 'hateful fanbase'.

I'm not the one who questioned fans for not attending a charity football match, !!

What is wrong with you all?

It is for charity...and it was announced months ago. If an event were not held it would be conspicuous by it's absence.

You lot can find the negative in absolutely anything.

Support another team if you find it so painful - and give the rest of us a break!

I'm not the one who also said..

"Can I assume you all will not be attending matches next season? Or will you still go so that you can continue to moan and wallow in self pity?"

And you still haven't offered an explanation, after a request as to why you posed this question.

All your posts have been, snide, insuting to individuals or groups, childish, condescending, and silly so you are in no position to question an 'adult debate' as the extracts above posted by you prove.

Up to now I've treated your posts with a bit of sarcasm, and replied a bit Tongue in cheek and a bit of a joke i.e. describing what Lard was and that you couldn't obviously communicate with it.

So if you want an adult debate, let have one,   explain why we shouldn't question The Owner, Rudkin and the clubs hierarchy and hold them accountable for the mess we are in.

Explain why we shouldn't question the players lack of commitment, work ethic, lack luster performances week upon week.

Explain why clapping players off after they have lost or thrown away points time after time is justified  - we as humans clap to show appreciation of something good, worthwhile, and positive.

Not the weak excuse of 'back the lad's' and prove you a real supporter who cares for the club.

Or then brings up winning the Premiership  as a great achievement under the KP Ownership as an argument.

It was 10 years ago, under the guidance of Vichai,  ALL of our current woes are under a different man, Top !  What happened ages back under a different regime whilst great has no bearing on our current situation. But Top's incompetence does!

So ..come back with some constructive answers to the above points and quantify them, tell us all here on FoxesTalk why those who are challenging the club and those who clap failure are all wrong.

I totally understand why a lot aren't going to this, but I have chosen to buy tickets - for my own personal reasons. Mainly as it will be nice to see a few of the players that bought us so much joy. If that makes me KPFC, in some fans eyes, because I choose to go to a football match then so be it.

Wonder if there’s a threshold it has to hit before it’s a loss or gets canned?

I would suggest they might be looking at now not oppening the full ground but then I guess that would be a job for them to relocate sold tickets from say the family stand.

Should have left it until pre-season was underway. It's going to sum up everything about Leicester in the last 5 years.

I would have taken my lads to this, as it is Im watching a mate in a boxing match. I don't think attendance to any LCFC games makes someone a fan of King Power per say.
