What is wrong with you all?

It is for charity...and it was announced months ago. If an event were not held it would be conspicuous by it's absence.

You lot can find the negative in absolutely anything.

Support another team if you find it so painful - and give the rest of us a break!

Take it you've already got your ticket. 😂 Back the lads.

It's not even the timing of it, it's the fact they'll be about 3 players at best from the title win.

Even if you want to excuse the timing because it was booked months ago, it's yet again just Top only being okay to acknowledge what he thinks King Power achieved.

If anyone wanted to do a match to celebrate the League Cup win over Tranmere it wouldn't even get a reply.

Disappointing lack of "I've followed the club for x years" in that post.

That's because the length of time you have supported a club is not relevant.

It's the attitude that is important. Small wonder that other clubs' fans laugh at our support.

Whole thing is going to be a KP circle jerk

I was wondering, who invented eye-rolling? Apparently, eye-rolling dates back to the 16th century, when Shakespeare used the gesture in his plays to indicate desire for another character. It wasn't until the

Really. Why are you upset about this.

Re read your post again my friend, but do it out aloud this time, it does sound a bit silly.

As you said  "It's for charity,"  That's it...

It's not about being negative, or being asked to support another team because of pain.

Its because some people may just find the timing of it and how the match is being billed a little in bad taste at the moment.

Taking in consideration our current situation, then using the greatest occasion in our history as a reason for the match when in fact we are arguably at our lowest and most polar opposite point, to me is quite crass by the club.

The cynic in me says it could just be a defective tactic to soften the relegation situation, but as I said I'm just being cynical.

But it pains me to say it that I'm not really surprised that they have. The club is so out of touch with the fans and is truly incapable of reading the room they do stupid insensitive things like this.

OK,  it may have been announced  but it would hardly have conspicuous or in fact the end of the world of it had been cancelled and in all fairness hardly missed by the masses if it was.

This "match" is a vanity project for Top and KP using our greatest success under thier ownership as an excuse to hold it.

The Nepo Baby is never more happy than when he has the chance to do a 'lap of honour' with this 2000 infulencer cling on's or ride on 'bus number one' in an open top parade.

It's not a match about celebrating the event not really.

It's not even a League or Cup match, so non attendance of a "charity match " is not a lack support, it's not even an issue, so the "back the lad's, "through the good times and the bad" KPFC Battle Cries can stay well and truly locked away for this one.

And other fans don't laugh at our support.

In fact, they along with more importantly the media, have all finally woken up and smelt the coffee and news outlets have started reporting what a sh1t show we are.

How poorly we are being run financially, the points deduction,  horrendous communication, the woeful player and manager acquisitions over the last 5 or 6 seasons. What a toxic culture not only in the dressing room but one thats also dribbling drown through the whole club, which all stems from our incompetent Chairman and owners. And the awareness of all this outside the club is slowly snowballing. Others are finally seeing and understanding the real picture which is being backed up with facts.

All of the above is much , much more important than a bloody needless charity match, it's just a shame that Top and the happy clapping KPFC brigade who blindly clap to show appreciation of failure after failure in the quest of calling themselves "true fans" don't see it as well.

£25 for a charity match that wont have half of the squad there is a shocker! surely this doesnt get anywhere near a sell out?!

I will give my £25 directly to Loros as i said earlier in this thread

Our former skipper Wes Morgan will captain the Legends team, which will include members of our title-winning squad, against an All Star XI featuring several familiar names from that unforgettable campaign on Filbert Way - this also doesn't make sense? so is who is in the All Star XI if Wes is in the legends team??

This should be promoted  more actually.

Well done.👏🏾👏🏾

I'm a tight indian bastard  so obviously  wont do any😁 BUT I do give to LOROS on a monthly basis anyway.👍🏾

I love the smell of free chang in the morning. It's the smell of.... mediocrity.

I can’t believe they’re charging £20/£25 for this AND opening up the whole stadium.

The costs of this charity event may outweigh the income.

Oh what a hateful fanbase we have.

Can I assume you all will not be attending matches next season? Or will you still go so that you can continue to moan and wallow in self pity?

Can you quantify your reasoning behind the assumption please? (i.e your underlying "gripe" or confusion to cause the need to ask the question)

It's very hard to phrase an answer to an assumptive question with that crucial bit of information omitted by yourself.

If you want an answer you have at least play the game fairly and give us a chance with all the info to formulate a response.

We have had three relegations in four years, any normal fanbase would be moaning.

A hateful fan base? Deciding to donate to a charity directly instead of fueling a nepo baby's vanity project?

Exactly.

People can still donate to the charity without attending anyway.
