I was glad it happened last night.

It would have been another escape route for all had it been another team that secured it.

The photo of Rudkin and Nepo baby afterwards with the Relegated to League 1 was exactly what those imbeciles deserved.

And the scenes afterwards outside the ground needed to happen.

This needs to be end game for the sidekick now. The attendance will fall further if they try and avoid it.

We already feel like a mid-table League One team.

It is worrying that it felt like the gulf this year was no different to last year in the Prem - with the same squad.

Rowett has been a disaster

So, I'm trying to wrap my head around the PSR rule differences between the championship and league 1. As far as I'm aware, the Championship work of the 3 year loss system that focuses on profit where league 1 uses a percentage of revenue wage cap where we can only spend 60% of what we bring in...

So theoretically, if we where to sell all our high earning players for massive losses, or even release them, it wouldn't hurt us in regards to PSR as long as their wages are off the bill? As long as the combined wages of the players that stay is within 60% of what we bring in over the season? Or am I over simplyfing it?

Rules breakdown here:

The challenge is we can't make a bunch of 'PSR losses' because they 'don't count' in League One - because if we get promoted to the Championship we'll be under PSR rules again.

The half hour or so last night that they put in a shift shows precisely where the blame lies. It is scandalous and not one single player should play for us again. There is a whole list of priorities, and they should start today - never mind a half-hearted attempt at taking responsibility, the redemption or death of our club starts now.

Appoint a manager asap - doesn't need anyone fancy, but someone who is tough, clear and able to deal with the players

Have a meeting with the players - explain that there will be no future for many at the club - pick and choose strategically the likes of Begovic, Skipp, Vestergaard

Get rid of all loan players and start telling the youngsters where they fit in next season, and spend between now and the start getting a siege team mentality

Financially is where we will see if Top supports the club or not because he is going to have to bank roll those who cannot find another club and watch them rot on a different pitch to the main squad

He is going to have to bridge the gap between next season and the following one

I would expect that to be started today unlike this season when evern Marti didn't stand a chance

Never ever ever again to I want to hear the piss take from away fans at the KP again. We stop the rot today and that includes the fan base who have the club in common and little else. It's done and it can't be un-done but today we have to smell the coffee and build something new.

That's a fair point that I hadn't considered.

My sympathies as I’ve literally been there. I watched your game against Swansea and I recognised so many of the bad characteristics in the Leicester players from our 2017/18 team that got relegated to League 1 - players just jogging about looking half arsed. They don’t care as they will be off in the summer.

Big clear out needed and the rebuild begins. It’ll turn around for you. I watched us lose 1-0 at Shrewsbury in the pissing rain just over 6 years ago and look at us now.

The Lee Congerton effect?

Other than Fatawu I struggle to see how we avoid huge losses on getting some of these players gone...

😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Playing devils advocate if we had just stayed up we would have the same dross playing for us next season with more than likely the same performances. Going down means those players will hopefully move on and we can re build with a mix of youngsters in the side. I would much prefer that than seeing this lot again next season.

Yeah if there's any silver lining is those players that don't care will be gone and maybe we'll invest in our younger players and bring some players from lower leagues who really do care...although we could be left with the same squad give or take.

I was thinking that Andy Woodman might actually be one of the better options but I doubt he's going to be getting a call from the Khunt or Rudders after that

We need a wage cap.

Across the board, you put us in league 1, u take league 1 wages.

Lcfc provides the best facilities etc.....

If u don't like it, off u go.

Only way we rebuild

Hopefully someone has the balls to deal with this!

Someone who spends most of his time focusing on another club can tell what our problems are, yet we have 'fans' that watch us religiously who still wouldn't or couldn't call it out.

Because they have been hoodwinked by the free beers and donuts.
