We have completed the signing of central defender Matt Baker, who has signed a two-year contract with the option of another year in the club’s favour.

 

The 23-year-old Welshman joins us as a free agent having turned down a new contract offer from Newport County, where he was club captain. Due to his age, a compensation package has been agreed with Newport.

Interesting to see how he copes with playing and managing Countryfile duties.
