Notts County lost to Coalville three years ago, now they're facing us.

It's going to be a season full of 'fun' facts like that isn't it?

:nigel:

It's probably happier times for me than you guys right now lol

It's just sinking in that next season we will be playing against Premier League Champions.

Vardy, Mahrez, Kante, Kasper, Kapustka, so many legends!

3k Notts County fans will be far better than 500 from Salford.

Salford support aint good enough for the efl. A lot of supporters who attended didnt even know club existed five or six years ago. Jumped on bandwagon due to who owns them.. most are man united supporters who cant get to tickets at old trafford. Salford as same feel as MK Dons without stealing someones club.

I make it five of the teams from our last League One stint (Huddersfield, Orient, MK Dons, Peterborough and Stockport).

Mad when you look at the journeys that we and Stockport have been on, then end up back together.

They do have the Kersal Massive though, that's got to count for something

Two teams we played last season. Two teams within the last three years. Six(?) we have never played in the league. The rest between 12 and 30 years+.

I keep seeing graphics of the teams in League One for next season and honestly shudder when I see our name.

Somehow manage to keep forgetting it happened

Yup! When I see those names I shudder too!!

....and to think we'll have the pleasure of watching European soccer on TV with such esteemed names as BRIGHTON - BOURNEMOUTH - SUNDERLAND and CRYSTAL PALACE! Wow!

But at least we'll be able to see us pit our wits against such footballing giants as Stevenage, Burton and Bromley!  CAN'T WAIT 🤔

I'm not saying last season we didn't play one

And Wrexham.

Hearing we(Notts) might be getting Callum Roberts back. Was great for us when we we in the National League and has been great for Scunny with helping them get promoted this season.

Only issue was him keeping fit. We already have Jodi, who is our heart, but also made of glass.

Also, this is now League One. Would like some players who have maybe shown they can play in it.

Still, would be happy to hear Cal has chosen to come back to us.

Stockport haven’t renewed the contracts of a few decent league one players. Odin Bailey in particular should be considered

Fair play to those who watch Salford regular. Would be very easy to follow either of the bigger Manchester clubs with them right on the doorstep.
