They'd rather have Cooper than Challinor?

It's just a few numpties. But most think it'll be Challinor as they have the former Stockport DoF.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't.

Only one manager can finish top…..so anyone winning it would be unlikely…..last week lot of talk on here about backing us to win it at 11/1……different tone this week…..

This league is utter dogshit, anyone with half an ounce of football management ability should be able to cruise to top.

It most definitely is.

And...that is why no one who is a good manager or a good player wants anything to do with it.

Which is why it can be very difficult to get out of.

League One is such a strange place really.

A mishmash of teams that either have had recent success or those of us where this might be our actual plateau.

I think I am actually missing League Two(and the National League) where you just know your shit and it's totally fine.

I guess maybe it's still that small glimmer of hope that does you in here.

Ashley Cole in at Bromley?

Did think the owner might do something a bit random....

No doubting his coaching experience, but his very short time at Cessena wasn't exactly a success.

We’ve already dropped as many points as we did in the first 32 games of 2023/24. So barring a 21 game winning streak we’re not going to be in a strong position come March.

Bloody hell lol

That is shocking tbf, but there is a caveat in that after 12 games that season we had 33 points whereas Huddersfield have got 25 at the same point. I also don’t think any club in League One this season has got the squad depth to dominate like us and Ipswich did then. It wouldn’t surprise me if whoever wins it this season does so with an unusually low points total.

It was an absolute disgrace that we failed to get 100 points in that season. We had 60 points before New Year's Day!

I think we've been in pretty rubbish form for basically 2 years and 8 months.
