Sold like hotcakes on general sale today.

Actually on reflection they haven't as much as I thought. In the cheaper areas and the standing areas they've gone really well. In the West Stand, the pricey bits of the East stand (almost £800 for a seat on the halfway line in the East stand for league one football 💀) and the family stand there's swathes and barely any movement from the start of today.

Fair play mate.....if i still lived in Leicester i'd do the same because the matchday tickets will not get any cheaper and you have the insurance that you won't be paying any more for them........The Match Day tickets were a disgrace by the way!

Just seen that if you wanted to move your ST from C2 to C1 it’s £111 more expensive on a renewed ST, based on last seasons Match day ticket prices and if every game was a category A it would be £92 more expensive (excluding the £5 relocation fees)

You need to get out and stop looking for things to moan about 😏

Just had Jim call me and he expects season tickets to sell out shortly.

He’s still working at 7:45 so fair play.

Did the same for me yesterday at a similar time as I couldn’t get through on the ticket line for 2 days. Great service from him, he seems to be picking up the pieces on his own!

According to AI (so probably b*llocks), L1 clubs have autonomy over the number of seats they sell to season ticket holders.  The only mandatory requirement seems to be that we give away fans up to 10% of the capacity for every game. Can't see many L1 clubs taking up an allocation of 3.2k, however,  so I guess some of these tickets will become available to home fans if demand is there. That said, we'll be a 'big day out' venue for most L1 clubs, especially for weekend games.

If that's correct, and the club can sell as many season tickets as they want in L1, (instead of it being capped at, I believe approx. 22,000), the problem would be if/when we get promoted, if the season tickets are e.g. 2,000 above the cap then 2,000 season ticket holders would presumably have to give them up. Not sure the club would want the hassle that would come with that. That's assuming it was a cap imposed by the league. If the cap was a club decision then I guess then could choose not to reapply it.

Anyway, I'd expect they'd still want the cap anyway. If there's 26,000 seats available after away and corporate allocations, I'm sure they'd want to keep a few thousand free for single match tickets sales (which make more money).

Surely you would be far better off just going to the odd game on single tickets

Unless they put the match going tickets down a lot then you are better off with a season ticket if you go to most games..........The difference between match by match for the last few seasons has been mad!

Im not criticising I’m genuinely intrigued as to why. I’ve given mine up, and my thoughts and feeling are clear as to why.

But, it’s equally a sad indictment that fans who are renewing are mainly due to their kids, spending time with family, or because it’s something they’ve done forever.

No one has yet said, because they at this moment in time love watching us and love going to support the club.

Im merely gauging what the general mood is amongst renewing fans.

You aren’t wrong, there is also that slight hope that we’ll see good times again. It’s been a rollercoaster 35 years so far.

Genuinely, anyone who has purchased one of love to know exactly why?

Because I want to go and support my football team physically and with other Leicester fans rather than venting my frustration by constantly moaning on here.

There will be, undoubtedly a period of good times again…..

Im in a position where my kids are too young to go, and the old man doesn’t want to go anymore….. there’s a % of me that wanted to keep it with the hope that we basically flood the team with youngsters, but even that I don’t have much hope for……..

Because my 2 year old doesn't care about football politics, he just wants to watch the game.

Some of us aren't grown ups crying about how a multimillionaire operates his business, some of us just want to spend time with family together

How do you get a 2 year old to watch a game of football? Surely you're up and down every 5 minutes and end up missing half the game.

That’s fair enough.

The main thing for me is, I don’t want to invest into king power or Top anymore. It feels to me that the “badge” has been suffocated to the point of the club almost appearing irrelevant…..

Im cynical, for 30 years I’ve been through it with this club, but the fire has gone, thanks to this current regime, the identity of the club has gone for me, for the first time in 13 years the season tickets have made general sale…… this is just a long decline and the worse is yet to come.

I will always love this club, but I’m not giving anything to it until King Power are long gone.
