Definitely. I think they've only added 5 to the squad, 2 of those are from the U21s & a couple have left. A bit surprising, unless they have an eye on others.

Rudkin in charge of HTFC recruitment too?

Kings Lynn away first game for Harborough. Morecambe first home game.

Boxing Day/Easter pair a bit crap in Bedford Town. A New Years fixture at Merthyr OUCH.

Harborough's Spanish Supporters Club will get a nice reception from the open and welcoming King's Lynn fans.

The program on BBC about my local non league club is worth a watch.I'd imagine it's the same story as many non league teams.......It's on BBC iplayer.....just search for Ashington.

Yes, I watched this and was indicative of how many non-league clubs are in dire financial straits.

I fear the higher up the pyramid you go, i.e. Anstey Nomads & Harborough Town plus others, the tougher to stay afloat.

Harborough Town sign former Nottingham Forest & Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombolonga

Apparently he isn't being paid, other than 'expenses'......whatever that means.

Been living under a rock and had no idea Harborough Town were going to be playing in NL North next season, I had just assumed they'd be in the Southern section given where they are on the map. Some of those journeys are mad for a sixth tier club - Morecambe in particular!

See you folks down Marine when the time comes I guess.

South Shields (215 miles) & Spennymore (195) are definitely games they don't need on a Tuesday evening !

Brackley & Bedford are in the same league, but 35 miles further south of Harborough. Bonkers.

They are the 24 most northern teams at step 2. Only argument is whether Braintree should be north rather than others but road links are better for Bedford & Brackley. Merthyr is even worst.

It’s worth remembering Truro to Folkestone will be longest journey at Step 2 level.

For  Harborough Truro would be 330 miles, Torquay 228, Folkestone 168 miles, then a few in the 130 to 150 bracket dealing with M25.

Not Spanish but I think we'll be alright.

Had a few games last season where the opposition thought were all Leicester fans (which is true )and got scared. 😂 High risk 😂

Best of luck to all the Leicestershire teams this season, g'won the Aylestone and Quorn, barwell and the like !!!

What are the thoughts on how HTFC will do? What’s the ambition? Survival? Mid table? Top half?

I think it'll be a real test, finishing lower mid-table (14th-17th) would be an achievement, IMO.

3 promotions in 5 seasons is rapid progress at any level.

Stabilise & have a real go next season.

If 'expenses' means £2k a week then you're correct.
