Joking aside, you could see someone like Mattioli Woods investing in us if we are devalued. 
 

It’ll be investment for future sale though, as it they’re owned by Pollen Capital. 

 

Or it would just be restructuring debt, however why would they use a Leicestershire based firm to do that when they’ve always used vampire bank previously.

Exactly. There’s a League Cup to their name- and that’s it. Finished below Sunderland this season. 
 

They’re simple not as big a club as they believe they are

Aren’t they restricted by PSR and can’t go on a limitless spending spree? 
 

If they could, they’d blow everyone out of the water as they’re basically backed by Saudi Arabia.

Irrespective- they’ve invested to the amount the Geordies wanted M Ashley to do. Probably more so 

 

They’re just not that big a club. Even if they were, it doesn’t mean Ashley did much wrong. And he’s certainly an improvement on Aiyawatt

Give me Ashley over Top anyday.

 

I guess they’re quite a big club, a European Trophy and large fanbase.  Possibly bigger than Man City before their takeover.

That’s what I mean though, we shouldn’t be settling for someone like Ashley.

 

Given our starting point it wouldn’t take much to get us back on an upwards trajectory. Just sensible recruitment etc. and a bit of ambition and it’ll make sense.
