It’s now blindingly obvious that goalkeepers will not commit to a dive when players are stuttering in their run up 

 

so unless you have toney levels of control to watch the final weight of keeper movement at the point of ball strike then you’re in trouble

The best way to beat a keeper with a penalty is to hit it hard and direct. Not fannying  about with stutter runs trying to fool the keeper into an early move.

Top keepers have learnt not to commit.

Especially in this world cup with this ball. Everyone knows it's absolutely flying. If you drill it hard for the corner, even getting a hand on it will be hard to stop it. 

 

Will be really interesting to see when we get to the knock outs.

It'll be a situation alert for the stewards. Sounds worrying but sometimes it can be fairly benign.

I've heard its for a stadium announcement about the other match in the same group, e.g. goals -  presumably it's been busy because Senegal are 4-0 up.

His situation seems awkward when he recently promised to stay with Wales, then the Burnley opportunity didn't materialise yesterday..

Nice of Norway to rest their best players for that one, gives France a great run at winning the World Cup now. No games at altitude, air conditioned stadiums, one cross continental flight but everything else near their home base in the NE USA. How conveniently good for them, with a squad like that you wouldn't think they'd need luck/help, but here we are. 

 

They should absolutely steamroll the entire competition now, congratulations FIFA/France.

It's a good opportunity at a club he knows well. He was daft to say he wouldn't consider it, that's probably the only part I think was silly. 

 

He's a good coach and he's obviously not going to be with Wales forever and it's a natural stopping point given we're between campaigns. 

 

Honestly I think it's been blown out of proportion. I'm more disappointed at Iwan Roberts trying to stir the put for engagement bait than Bellamy for shopping around tbh.
