On the one hand, I was always kind of morbidly curious how we'd have done under Marsch, with the emphasis on minimising the use of width and playing centrally wherever possible. It would have been far preferable to persisting with our "get it to Mavididi and Fatawu and hope for the best" approach. He certainly wouldn't have made our defence any worse, given it's already at rock bottom.

On the other hand, the fitness of these Canadian players is pretty damn impressive. Leicester would be shagged out on their arses within ten minutes playing at this intensity.

For those who don't quite understand this means so much to us who have been following Canadian soccer for decades.

 

We have come so far and get getting better by the years. Proud of the local lads too.
