The information i have is that we posted a massive loss. We didnt spend any money on transfers so logically speaking a high wage bill is the reason.

Its well documented by journalists and former players that we spend silly money on wages. Stop playing around with this performative ‘gotcha’ nonsense. It wont wash anymore.

So you basically have zero evidence for your claim that Skipp, Souttar, Choudary, Faes, Thomas, Mavididi are on around £50k per week? I mean literally nothing?

Any of the players playing yesterday being on anything more than £10k a week is still fraudulent (excluding the good ones like Alves, Braybrooke and Joseph).

A 30-50% reduction is still at best £25k a week!

At best £25k?

So some way short of £50k then.

Again, the performative gotcha nonsense isnt going to wash. If these players were on low wages we wouldnt be posting the massive losses we post season after season despite selling and more clubs would be lining up to take them off our books. The fact that none of them are overly pushing for a moves away and are happy to run their contracts down.

The ‘evidence’ for my claim is far stronger than yours. Just because i dont have access to hard figures doesnt make it a false accusation that these players are on obscene wages. You’re just being pedantic for the sake of it.

We deserve to be where we are with fans like you.

We're one game in, the clubs up for sale and we're seeing elements being addressed.

No one is hiding from how badly we have been run over the past years. But there is a.lot of over the top anger last night and this morning.

Its not over the top and your failure to see that is a huge reason of why we are where we are as a club.

‘Looking to be outraged.’

Mate we make 90 million pound losses year after year and we are in League One and things arent improving.

That is not looking for a reason.

So £70m last season and £180m rather than your £270m over the last 3.

Yes it’s appalling but try and keep a sense of perspective and deal with facts rather then having a meltdown.

I’ve no doubt that we are overpaying for League One. But that doesn’t mean we should just accept every single ridiculous claim from sources like footyinsider, which are widely known for spouting BS gossip. It’s just a bit depressing to see how many Leicester fans apparently have zero critical faculties.

This is a really uneducated response - you are talking about losses posted in the past, the wage bill has been cut massively this season.

An awful lot more than you have.

I think you’re literally the only person who believes we have a number of players earning more than £50k a week.

You should have a lie down.

Two competitive games is not enough to call time on him FFS 🤣

It is. Any decent manager would play with what he had. This squad ain't good enough to play keep ball. But Martin won't change. It's not all his fault it's Top n Ruskin for employing him and not having the tools he needs.

Ah my bad. Only a 70 million pound loss. Things arent that bad please ignore everything i’ve said. Things are good. Things are great, nothing to see here…

0 critical faculties yet every bloke on here is desperate to ignore the state the club is in because they want to be the most loyal and level headed supporter.

yes as i said. Everything is fine. My figures might be slightly wrong. Its good to see how passionate our fanbase is to correct pounds and pennies yet have 0 passion for the state the club is in. Pathetic mentality when most of you show more passion and energy to be petty on the internet instead of for the state of the club.

Steve Cooper, RVN, Marti Cifuentes, Andy King, Gary Rowett, Russell Martin

Erm.. all of these were the problem. Look at where or what they're doing now, will tell you everything you need to know.

Managerial decisions have been horrid at this club, including Brendan Rodgers' payrise and allowing him to control recruitment.

Just heard him talking about needing more experienced players in his post match interview. This guys just another Cooper, get rid before we spend money we don't have on "experienced" journey men.

Thank you thats really kind of you.

But my point is that our fanbase has much more passion when it comes to fighting our own fans than to addressing any actual issue at the club.

There is a big difference between being critical of the club’s finances and being the kind of gullible moron who believes any outrageous claim spouted by terrible sources such as footyinsider. It just depresses me when Leicester take pride in their determination to scrutinise the club’s finances (which is important and necessary) yet apparently have no interest whatsoever in scrutinising the sources they use. It’s such a weird asymmetric application of somebody’s critical faculties.

Plenty of Leicester fans on X (some of them quite well known) have been responding to the footyinsider story as if the £50k per week claims can be taken at face value, when all it takes is a cursory reading of the article to understand that the journalist hasn’t a clue and even admits as such (ie, his careful use of the word ‘reportedly’).

KP have messed up big time and I want them gone as much as anyone else. But this won’t be achieved with idiotic fans who are full of outrage but lack basic intelligence.

Just because what i said isnt the exact figure it doesnt make me a gullible moron and the fact you dont engage in good faith shows that deep down you know the points im making are right but you’d rather bury your head in the sand and argue over ‘exact’ figures.

It’s an extraordinary comment isn’t it? I’ve never seen a more unanimous response from a fanbase: JJ, Braybrooke and Alves were the 3 bright lights yesterday. Our experienced players were largely anonymous

I’m just as strongly King Power out as you are, but the negativity kicking in from minute 2 yesterday was ridiculous and not helpful. The booing at the end really wicked me off.

I don’t believe any fan would have booed if all the players put in the same effort and energy as the County players did. I wasn’t expecting a win but the manner in which we conceded the goal and surrendered the game to a team that has sold all their best players in summer was frightening. We’ve seen this playbook time and time again. I am sick of hearing people saying be patient, fvck that my patience is done. We simply did not match them for effort, grit and determination. I will always get behind a Leicester that gives their maximum. I didn’t see that yesterday.
