Gonna have to back him, we have no choice. But this does just feel like the latest in a long line of lacklustre, car crash managerial appointments.

Pretty deflated, reinforces disengagement with the club.

The guy has one season, he HAS to take us up, our League 1 visit should be as temporary as last time.

I don’t want him fired at the end of the season, as he will have been successful in returning us closer to where we should be.

By the way the statement makes no acknowledgment of the clubs situation or position. They really aren’t football people. They really can’t grasp the whole feeling amongst the fanbase.

Somethings we have to accept is the disconnect from the fan base and the leadership is a fact. I didn’t hear a single fan say we want RM but Rudkin has been after him for years. We also have to accept Rudkin and Top ain’t going nowhere so only one thing we have to do is get behind RM as we have to give him a chance. It’s hard to be positive but we have to make sure this season let’s start with positivity and hopefully the fans positivity will rub off on the players.

Thats inevitable. 
 

A cardboard cut out should get us up next season. It was always an appointment about a proper rebuild with some sustainability. 
 

We will have a shocking August which includes at least one team getting three or four against us, then it will settle down and we will do well until March. Then everyone starts to work out the tactics and just counter attacks on us. Hopefully the gap is too much like Cardiff this season. 
 

Go into next season with no feeling of togetherness or anything

The club could start by acknowledging the situation rather more realistically. That statement by them today doesn’t even acknowledge the situation with the squad, the division, financial pressures etc. 

 

The relationship with the fans will only rebuild if they actually begin to be less pretentious

It's like they've put a quote from Rudkin in the press release and had him in one of the photos on Instagram and gone "that's the transparency they wanted"
