He’s hardly been welcomed into the side and supported by our fan base has he? So that likely removes any notion he might feel an attachment and desire to stay.

I welcomed him into the side, just didn’t realise how piss poor he would be, zero positional sense which we can’t afford next year..Sell

People were on his back before he even got settled. Self fulfilling prophecy and all that… 3

Shame but move him on 1

Shame but move him on November to January he was not dreadful at all. He was solid, couple of MoTM awards. Final 3-4 months of the season he was extremely poor, like many of them. 13

Younger players seem to get a handful of games and get written off if they haven’t been great whereas the shite we spent millions on seem to get given way more time. Remember the Vestergaard ‘redemption arc’? No. He’s always been shit. 1

Remember the Vestergaard ‘redemption arc’? No. He’s always been shit. Boggles my mind this. I remember having to listen to guys around me saying how Vestergaard was a player who made everyone around him better when he was injured. When Nelson was injured he remained shit. Claridge is almost a cliche of this type of fan, where if the academy player isn't ripping up the league then they are awful, yet players we have paid 15mil for 'just need a run of games'. 1
Popular Post coolhandfox Posted 7 July Popular Post Posted 7 July Buying Okoli over developing Nelson is one of the stupidest thing we have done and we have done a lot. 16
Long Eaton Fox Posted 7 July Posted 7 July Nelson will become a fantastic player. He needs decent footballers around him to help him develop. Get him signed on a long term contract and he will become a £30m asset rather than a £3m desperation sale. 2
lcfc sheff Posted 10 July Posted 10 July Never thought we’d be keeping him anyways! there was only one reason why he has a year left and it wasn’t because he wants to stay! 3
TheGoldenGod Posted 10 July Posted 10 July Here's some hard truths for the guys on here....we won't lose all of Nelson, JV and Okoli in one window....so expect Okoli to be lining up next season for us
Rubbersoul Posted 10 July Posted 10 July Shame he was infected by Leicester last season. Fully expect him to go and do well there now 3
Foxes96 Posted 10 July Posted 10 July I find it strange how prominently he has appeared in all pre season content, kit launch etc especially if the club suspected he could be on his way out 1
moore_94 Posted 10 July Posted 10 July Go and play for a mid table Serie A side whilst living in Turin or stay at Leicester playing in league one… hmm hard decision… A decent season for them and he can get himself a Prem move 4
