Mods feel free to remove.

Thread for other teams transfer news. Whether it is relevant to Leicester or not.

Callum Elder has joined Lincoln City.

I would think they should just be div 1 transfers in. Not sure what a Lincoln transfer has to do with us.

I mean the relevance is obviously that he came through our academy

Clue is in the title thread ;)

Not really.

It just says other teams. So we can put inter Milan transfers in it.

No mention of our ex players league or anything.

We imploaded at the wrong time, and I fear its going to take best part of 5-10 years to get back in the prem. The gulf in money will get to a level where the 3 relegated teams are guarenteed to go straight back up.

So true that

By the time we’re in a position to even challenge for the championship play offs you’re gonna be looking at the 3 relegated Prem teams being able to sell players for £100+ mill, along with the parachute payments.

Like you say, literally the worst time possible for us to throw it away

It's definitely an issue but I guess it depends how the teams are spending that cash as well - West Ham and Wolves (for example) have made good money on players and got worse year on year.

Getting back into the Prem in 5-10 years would be an absolute miracle.

I’d be amazed if we are even both back in the Championship and challenging for promotion in that timeframe to be fair. It feels like we might end up yo-yoing between L1 and Championship for a bit if we get back up.

No, if we get back up I struggle to see how we can be that bad that we don't stay up. I do think we could implode further though and severe financial problems and not even get back up any time soon though.

A thread about other teams transfers, starts with an argument and then spirals into how bad we are and if we will go bust or ever be in the championship or prem again. Fox talk,

I get it and I ****ing love it. 😂

You're right but I think you could argue we peaked at the right time for a team with our resources to win the league before it became totally out of reach

Im going to call this now. This club will not be in the Premier League for at least 15 years, if ever. Those days have been wasted.

Yeah but this thread is about who other teams around the globe have signed????

Brighton sign Rego from Benfica. Sure we were after him last year or so

Different Rego. We were after João Rego, they signed Rodrigo Rego.

I'm sure the one we were after would be the Ali Express Rego.
