Im going to call this now. This club will not be in the Premier League for at least 15 years, if ever. Those days have been wasted.

Yet it only took us 7yrs to get out of Lge 1 & win the premier league.

Im not saying we will win the thing but 15yrs seems an awful long time to be out of it considering what we have done.

Whilst everyone has a downer on the club we are still an attractive club, ok not so much this season, but let’s say we get promoted & now a championship club do you think most players would then choose a Portsmouth, Preston, QPR type over Leicester, promotion would put us automatically in direct competition with the 3 relegated clubs and 1 or 2 others, we are still a big fish in ‘name’.

I get it’s not the same but whilst money gets stronger for clubs in the premier league those that drop find themselves in the same position as we were, West ham will look different to when they dropped due to wage demands as will all those clubs in between now and when we return.

235mil on 3 players,

SCR/FFP.....what is the actual point

The pressure will be on spurs more now than ever, any cushion that they did have with PSR has well and truly evaporated. They need success otherwise it could be oblivion. Do or die.

Die would be great for them 🙂😂

Completely different times and structure at the club. The only way we get back in my opinion is an ownership and leadership change, there appears to be no sign of that. It’s clear the Rudkin method takes us one place. Everything at the club is third rate and ponderous. If the club were in anyway effective at anything like bringing in new players I may have a different view, but Rudkin seems to double down on what failed

Ahh the January of 2025 when I was raving about this guy, only for us to manage to scrape £3 million for Woyo Coulibaly

I'm not that convinced by him tbh

Stockport fans liked him however he went completely missing for them in the playoff final, I was at the game and he was completely anonymous. Ben Osborn looked the better player.

Every transfer is a risk, but what I mean by being perfect is that it is the type of signing that would have grabbed the interest of the majority of the fans and would have been a sign that the club is moving in a new direction, as we have been promised.

Danny Ings is just more of the same, whether he turns out to be a good signing or not.

As I've said, hopefully Danny Ings won't be our only striker

Good league one level player.  Flopped so far at Champ level in his 2 loans.  Outside of Stockport he's been shit in all fairness.

He is only young, but, he has only had one good season.

Hopefully, we'll be getting another striker (after Ings) who is of a better standard than Barry

Was on £40k a week at Villa as well, taken a paycut to join Sheff Wed but I doubt it will have been a big one

Oxford and Sheffield Utd looking at Archie Collins effectively ruling us out as both those are in a much better position than us. Let that sink in.

Oxford on the verge of a Transfer Embargo
