The first bookmaker to post their relegation odds did so today, couldn’t find a similar thread.

 

To win L1 - 11/4

Promotion - 4/5

Relegation - 50/1

 

Given administration isn’t absurd, Russell Martin’s ability to underperform and the player turnover I don’t think a 2% implied probability accurately reflects the situation.

There were some perfectly fine individuals in our squads that got 3 out of 4 relegations in the last 4 seasons. 
 

With the same clowns in charge, and our potential financial ruin, I’m not ruling it out. 
 

so far we have zero evidence the slide is slowing down, nevermind stopping and reversing course.

I put a bet on as a bit of a laugh we would get relegated last season at 7/1. 4/1 for promotion and knew we would have some sort of drama, so for a laugh I backed both. 

Well wasn't I shocked when that 7/1 romped in....

I’ll be amazed if we get promoted this season. This club is in free fall, and there doesn’t seem to be anyone working at the club who understands even the basics of football.

Keeping the brand of football.

Same transfer strategy.

Short term results over longer term financial health.

Gonna give the window a little longer before piling on to relegation or promotion. Are small signs of better processes going on, like he fact we are actively involved in multiple incomings and outgoings at the same time and have actually taken some advantage of free agency. Still don’t have much faith but I do think we are having our best start to a summer in a while just purely for the proactive deals over the last week or so

I’m sticking some on it, I think it’s more likely we go down than up. People are getting carried away following one friendly against a team that’s more or less amateur……

We underperform virtually every single year under this regime for a multitude of reasons. I'm amazed anybody would wait a year for an 11/4 payout that isn't watertight.

 

If there are any markets for things like missing out on the top two, missing out on the top six, count me in.

 

Relegation is 50/1 for a reason, and I don't believe it will happen, but this regime have produced extraordinary underperformance on numerous occasions now.

This is probably where I am too. I don't think we'll go down, but I think there's a very good chance we aren't in any promotion conversation and not sure the bookies have cottoned on to the mess we're in yet.

Could be that the bookies have taken all the money they want to take at higher odds and the market has pushed the odds of us winning the league right down?
