Not really, no. We got the most points, scored 89 goals (the second most) and conceded the least, all with this absolute cretin playing 😂

We did. There were some great moments. But I also had many many moments of sitting there watching the game, a near silent crowd around me, as we did very little. We weren't a klopp style, 90 minutes of excitement team. We were 89 minutes of keep ball with 2/3/4 15 second moments of excitement in the match, most of which led to goals as our players were better than anybody else's. Sure, the goals were exciting and there were bits of excitement, but also so so so so much turgid boring football.

Football in general had been incredibly boring for the last decade. A few green shoots at the world cup, and a few teams breaking away from the 11 men behind the ball, then keep the ball forever football we've been watching across the football world.

The football was really boring at times though wasn't it?

I can't wait for the return of 4-4-2 and direct football. It really can't come soon enough.

boring?  Maybe at times.. but it’s easy to overlook boring when you win most games and are top of the league :D

I don't think it was overlooked. People on here were talking about how boring it was at the time. Look, we got great results, won the league, I'm not complaining about the outcome, just mentioning that it wasn't exactly scintillating to watch.

ok so by overlooked I mean I’ll take boring football if it means getting promoted and winning most games. Would I like both? Of course. But I sure don’t want ‘exciting’ football if we don’t have the players for it and we end up losing most games and getting relegated or at least not promoted.

The hierarchy for most fans will be Exciting + Winning > Winning > Exciting > Losing and Dull. Enzo definitely fell into the Winning camp.

As for Mavididi it's best for all parties if we part ways.

Has anybody said they would? I feel like you're having a debate with yourself here. I'm just saying Enzo's football was boring. Nothing to do with anything else.

I remember plenty of games playing 4-4-2 under NP that were boring.

Plenty under O'Neill playing wingback that were boring.

Errm? We’re debating? lol

you said it was boring and I said I’d take that if it means getting promoted and winning. How is that a debate?

I don't remember the actual tactical master plan being boring under them.

We might have had poor matches, but our actual style wasn't inherently really really boring

Please can a baller league team just pick him up

Thomas to Hull, Mavididi to Stoke would be nice.

Mate is a Stoke fan and that's what has been mentioned on their forums. He also said that Ben Pearson has been mentioned as coming to us as part of the Mavididi deal.

Seems like this could have legs, would take Pearson he’s a better option as a DM than Hamza imo.
