No you’re right. King Power are renowned for their business nous under Aiyawatt aren’t they

I agree.  These muppets would still spend, even with these precarious financial implications looming over us.

I agree with you.

However he losses almost everything if we go into administration, rather than getting any money of out a sale.

He would basically be handing over the keys to the club for nothing.

He'd be better off selling for 30m rather than administration.

Why wouldn't you just go cheap, play the kids and give the job to Kingy of you are in that much trouble, just buy time to sell.

Could be that the only way we lose KP as owners is if we go into admin

any prospective buyer reading these rumours would be mad to do a deal with king power.

so who do these ‘leaks ‘  benefit ?  they could be untrue but with a modicum of truth in that  - eg. we need to bring 15m in before the window shuts

Gonna have a think

Yeah, so lining Red Bull's pockets is their aim. Not winning trophies.

They make roughly 2 billion profit a year from selling their drinks.

They don't make anything from the football clubs.

Not sure you like something to a crap footy website.

You would leak to a friendly journalist who's has credibility.

Yes - it could just be made up nonsense with 2+2=5 for clicks

guess we’ll find out more as the week progresses

Incidentally, Lcfc use pwc as auditors.  Macquarie have recently changed from pwc to KPMG but this decision is under review

if the rumour is true then you’d suspect Macquarie wouldn’t want pwc involved due to possible conflict of interest ?

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone at all if we are this close to admin.

It wouldn't, but how would some no mark journalists at footballinsider and some fans group have the info ahead of the likes of Percy, Winter, Bourne, Jacobs, OPA, and Holland who are all far more likely to break the news when that day comes.

I don’t think they have any inside information whatsoever

Theyre just saying what’s pretty obvious really

It doesn't make sense. If we were that close to admin, we wouldn't have been able to bring in the players that we have done. Also, as others have pointed out, we wouldn't be turning down bids for any players. Also fire sale? We needed it as there were too many high earners underperforming.

I think it's just lazy journalism and/or rumours. We may be close, but I think we'll be okay IF we get promoted. If we're still in the rotten league, yes we're in big trouble.

One thing I will say, those wanting Administration to get rid of KP then long term it would horrific for us. Wed be in league 2 after lots of points deduction, it's just not an option for me. I want our club back in the championship at least, admin would be so messy and not good for the long term survival of the club. Just imagine being in League 1/2 with that round our necks. Wed be a mess for years and years.

Yes it's time to get move on from KP, but admin is not the cleanest way out of this mess, in fact it puts us deeper in trouble.

I'm hoping a buyer is found that can at least stabilise the club so the owner/money isn't a conversation that we currently havez, or talk about less.

I think we are in the financial mud, but i think the doomsday type posts are somewhat off the mark for the timebeing. Just capitalising on the negative mood around the club to generate traffic.

I'm not saying we are in a good place but do i think we are on the brink of administration as being stated by these sites? no.

Never underestimate just how stupid Top is.
This is a guy who a few months ago admitted he didn’t know how psr and the financial implications worked from it.
Does anyone seriously think Top wouldn’t realize how close to admin we are and just carry on as normal?
Remember we promote next season.

But people around him should and will, so if we are then they would be doing something about it, or at least telling him. He can't be that useless

It obvious we are in a poor position financially but that doesn't mean administration is certain

Top didn't know what PSR was. He's not a very savvy businessman to say the least

He definitely can be that useless.
Let’s not forget he’s got Rudkin around for advice.

Yep, though if a main contract pull out of KP that could knock on to us.

I think this could be agent driven, mate at an agency gets some info that there is a fire sale, club are using agents to get players shifted, agent shares this info with his mate who has a social media account and bingo

It's a bit like Blackadder lll. (stay with me here !)......

..........King George being advised by his obviously very clever & at times devious Butler (Rowan Atkinson)........And that is saying something, when Rudkin is the brains of our dynamic duo !
