I am up for it. The empty stadiums and the poor defending/goalkeeping just makes me feel a bit nervous.

I’m looking forward to him signing tbh purely so I can call him The Bristo Kid™️ and annoy the anti nickname killjoys on here!🤣

He wasn’t tbf. Carranza was a lazy panic buy. Big club has a player so he must be good. Not even slightly similar.

I meant in respect that he was the player we wanted so badly , someone who can allegedly score goals and never played again.

That 1st game he played he had vardy traits.... last man.. on the shoulder

Then poof... trained with Daka and Mavididi 🤪

His finishing ability in the clips i've seen remind me of Matty Fryatt.

is that a good for League One thing or just a good thing?

Matty got around 30 odd goals for us lat time in league 1, so it would ne a good thing.

Yes but from memory he wasn't good in the championship but I might be misremembering, hence the question.

It was also a reference to the bslb show name...

He wasn't bad 59 goals 229 games, around a goal every 3.88 games.

Not to shabby.

Yes and knee slides. Takes penalties as well....

Doesn't look much of a finisher therr but looks like he has good feet. Should come in handy against deep defences.

Averaged 4 dribbles per90 last season, which ranked him 1st amongst Slovenian league forwards, most definitely one of his main strengths.

Fryatt was excellent the first season back in 2009/10. Had some games where he literally won hard fought games for us by himself.

This is quite some contradiction in relation to aerial duels 😂

15 Goals in 30 games is above average consistancy. in most leagues. If he can dribble with the Ball also, that has to be a big plus.

I think he's going to be a success , Especially this season at least. Either way I'd prefer giving a lad a chance rather than another failing oldie.

Eh? What's wrong with his finishing? Fair enough, dubious defences and we don't get to see the ones he missed, but looked decent to me. Most players look world class in highlight reels but I didn't see any red flags in this one.
