I just don't know, so much uncertainty. We still don't know for nother couple of weeks whet the team will be. (midfield and CB. will likely change).

We do have quality for the level, Chaplin, Burns, Watson, Cullen etc... (missed players out who i don't think will still be here)

Some promising young players in JJ, Braybrooke, Alves, Howell, Aluko. (as above with Page)

Striker situation is a bit worrying still.

If Martin gets it right and they click, we have every chance of having a great season and winning the league. But its a big if and there are no guarantees.

We aren’t.

It’s just lazy, people know us as a recent prem team and assume we will walk it. We won’t. Give it 10 games and we’ll have a good idea of who has a chance.

If you mean in a squad building sense, there's a fairly decent chance that's McCarron not Martin.

I thought Chaplin, Cullen and Burns were RM signings given he had worked with them before. In two minds about the Brighton boys given he lives down there.

Of course it's not your fault, or any of ours, that we are in the third tier again but the constant negativity is just boring. First game of the season is always good to look forward to regardless of what's happened the season before. Even if we batter County by 3 goals I know the same people will be coming out with excuses of how we didn't deserve it.

We will have to agree to differ. I don't believe we can look forward until this ownership comes to an end. I am not going to pretend to be positive about our current position. Just to be clear I don't spend much time thinking about Leicester City atm. I don't need to fill my life with negativity. Plenty of other stuff to be getting on with. I started this thread because I was genuinely surprised we are such hot favourites to win the League. Purely based on Martin being IMO a punt (which it had to be really under our current ownership/situation), our owners ability/interest to turn things around, the squad churn (again understandable).

I really didn't want us to get relegated. The further we fall the longer and more difficult the road back, regardless of any change of ownership/management. And I would be delighted if we won the League. I am positive about the potential for the club in the long term.

Believe it or not we are still 2nd or 3rd favourites to win the league with the bookies (Sheff Wed and Huddersfield up there with us).

Anyone lumping on at 11/2!?

For anyone who doesn’t understand gambling, 11/2 means if you bet £20 you’ll lose £20.

After Stockport, we have 4 games against middle table teams. Suspect we'll be lower mid table and stay there.

In this new world, Stockport look too good for us. Unbelievable.

4th favourites already. Only took a month of Martin's football.

The 66/1 I got on relegation now 23/1. Still think decent value.

Nope. We'll be lucky to get promoted at this rate.

Because no ones watched us play

This is 100% on the money.

We are a more famous name.

If you showed people the team sheets without the club name, half of them wouldn’t know who any of the players were.

We aren’t a team stacked with loads of talent. We were overrated and we will do well to stay in this division based on what we’ve all seen so far.
