Once people here make up their mind about a player, that's it.  And they've decided that these two have zero redeemable qualities.  I think Skipp is decent player, seems to have worked hard all through pre-season and is a mature calming influence in the centre of the park.  Thomas has his weaknesses, but against Hull, nearly all our best chances came from him, and again, for any weaknesses he can't be accused of laziness or not caring.

I think its about as decent as we could expect.

 

Take the positives Faes and Mavididi are out. Its a shame about Page but you can imagine its a difficult position for him.

Another step in the right direction. We were never going to get everything we wanted today, but Braybrooke, JJ and Alves all in the XI great to see. Aluko too will play a huge part this year. 
 

Faes and Mavididi hopefully on their way out. 2 weeks left of the transfer window, I imagine this team will look very different come October/November.

If the choice is your centre back who's been here 3 years (who granted might be leaving) and your new right winger then id still pick the centre back. 

 

All the other options are new players, youth players or Okoli/BDCR types.
