Ooh I tell you what - Notts County are dogshit yet they don't really deserve a point. You've looked better playing it. You get these in League One, odd stupid draws away. Keep the faith. You do need a decent striker and Souttar looks like he wants Wrexham. Weird looking ****er innee?

Absolutely awful. Lets just pass it around with no urgency.

 

Long season ahead. We have a severe lack of quality, physicality and athleticism to succeed at this level.

 

Combine that with tippy tappy football and some poor signings along with what we currently have it looks like mid table at best

Maybe, but let's just say we were lucky we were playing a very poor team today who couldnt finish the 4 or 5 other good chances they had. 

 

If we played a Luton or Plymouth etc today we probably concede 4.

Aye, but who is coming to come here that is actually decent? especially when they see JR as the DoF and the rep he has across the leagues. We're a magnet... a 5h1t magnet for players atm.

Some lessons learnt here.  McCarthy is finished.  Skipp needs to go to. BDR and Cullen are not good enough as out and out strikers.  Get Souttar gone.  Stop this gaffing around at the back.

Said this after the cup game and the pre season games....but we've signed ANOTHER warm body in Cullen. A genuine waste of a squad space, unbelievable KP but you've done it again!

Some decent periods of play from us at times, but defence looks highly suspect and nervous. Thomas in particular looks so uncomfortable and prone to error. Only one of the back 4 to come out of that with any credit is Joseph. Skipp also guilty of weak passing & losing the ball.

Going forward is better, Alves had real threat, Braybrook did well in limited space, Burns showed some promise too. BDCR had more impact than Cullin but neither really imposed themselves.

Notts, I thought, showed how to press. They had the kind of enthusiasm & bite I would hope we could show. Less calamity in defence than us too.
