Agree to disagree, thought okoli was much better than Souttar. Both poor on the ball but okoli defended a lot better, in fact I would say he was our best at actually defending throughout the game.

To be honest could have called it beforehand and if it's not rectified we won't go up: not good enough in defence or attack. Unless Bristric is the second coming of Zlatan then him Cullen and Reid all season will be nowhere good enough. The only reason we didn't lose is because of the dire finishing of the opposition. Notts Co are nowhere near the best sides we will face this season and we struggled.

Loads of decent wingers and midfielders isn't going to win us games if we can't defend or score.

The stupid thing about today was we had actually gained control of the game, were 1 up, and with the right changes we not only see that through - we probably go on to win 2 or 3 nil.

Biscuits had to come on up front earlier - and why not bring Braybrooke back a bit, ask him to sit a little alongside Skipp (or Hamza to come on for Skipp) whilst pushing Cullen centrally as a proper 10 to help emphasise our control?

Instead, Martin slowly brought off our move threatening players, to the point we became far too impotent.

Completely self inflicted.

A 1-1 draw and a decent performance would have been fine but that performance on top of the Northampton game shows we still have the same weaknesses weve had for 2 years. No fight and mentally and physically weak. Also highlights that Martin has learnt nothing from his disaster at Rangers and is hell bent on having 65%+ possession every game even at the expense of us winning or actually creating any chances. 90th minute 1-1 and we're still at walking pace passing around the back. Garbage!

A team with new faces, some younger and unexperienced players with a new manager in a different league. You can’t expect us to steam roll through the league when we’re in this kind of transition.

I'm actually even more embarrassed to be a Leicester City fan after today. Shameful to be honest - both the result and performance. All of their chances came from the fact that our keeper and 3 of our 4 defenders are totally crap on the ball. We need to address that quickly or we're going nowhere this season. We also better hope that Bristic is good as the other striker options are really poor even at this terrible level. Thomas must surely be dropped after that horror show.

Of the few positives, Alves, Joseph and Braybrooke did well.

????? It's the opposite as I saw it. Alves, Braybrooke, JJ were most promising. It was Skipp Reid and Thomas who were shite as usual

Christ almighty! You're all so bloody negative. It's the first game of the season FFS. Notts County have momentum and we have 3/4 of a new first team. I'll be concerned if we defend and play like this after 5 games of the season. Give the team time to gel, get rid of the players we don't want and don't want to be here, bring in another 2/3 players and let the togetherness grow. Rome wasn't built in one day..... Keep The Faith!!

Our owner’s obsession with possession football and the subsequent recruitment of shite players that can’t play it and lack any fight has led us here. And them cnts are off it’s this horrendous approach is exactly what needs to be rooted out by any new owner, it’s horrendous and isn’t working.

Huge amount of possession but with limited amount of big chances makes this all pointless. Unless we get another decent striker in and better CB’s then this will be a long season.

Forget about automatic promotion if the club do not get another striker in. Please for the love of fck RM do not try and tell us Cullen and BDR are any answer up top.

Every coaching team in the league will watch that match and come up with the same blueprint for the season. Namely, defend in a low-block, as Leicester don’t have any footballers to produce magic. Be aggressive and in Leicester faces when they try to play as they don’t have any athletes or aggression of their own.
I think we’re going to see this performance and result waaaaaay too much this year.

Underwhelming day. I have to say, Bistro’s 15 minutes didn’t fill

me with any confidence.

I mean the goal was massively his fault ahead of everyone else

Let his man get the freedom of the box for a free header and then is more bothered about calling for the offside rather than playing to the whistle and following the rebound

this is the concern, they will finish bottom half and they had 6 huge chances today against us.

They will get relegated. I heard in pre commentary that they lost their 2 forwards. Thats why they couldnt finish any of the clear cut chances, that we helped them produce by the way.

If we played Luton today we get beat easily.

This obsession with passing it around the back even when there are no safe options, is so painful and infuriating to watch. It will cost us so many goals this season, but we will persist with it no matter what.

Did you see the rest of the team by any chance? The kids were the brightest part!

I honestly think we’re down for quite some time.

Defensively we were extremely poor. In all honesty, we were fortunate to come away with a draw. Martin will watch that back and he will be extremely concerned.

Skipp, Okoli, BDCR and Thomas should all be nowhere near our starting eleven.

Considering his lack of experience in comparison to Thomas I thought Joseph played much better out of the two full backs.

Braybrooke moves the ball intelligently and Alves is a nightmare to defend against with his constant twisting and turning.

Cullen didn't impress me at all :nono:

I think we still need a striker (a goalscorer at this level) and a CB that's comfortable on the ball and has a bit of pace.

Did you think it was decent then?

I didn't, but I'm not a reactionary idiot that writes off the entire season based on one game of football.

We've had an enormous turnover of players, a change of manager and are playing against a team on a high infront of the biggest club they've played a league game against in years, of course it's going to be a tough game.

It's going to take at least 10 games for it to properly gel and we still don't have the right players in at centre back to play the way that the manager wants to play.

It was embarrassing struggling in the championship… to be even more shit in league one is the ultimate embarrassment. We need to improve massively, can anyone really see it though? Martin he is stubborn, and with Rangers against similar opposition he struggled there too
