No you are talking about newly promoted teams.

He's clearly listed the first three games of the season, and is making a point about the first three games of the season. Including Burton, so I'd take your own advice.

Notts C and MK Don both promoted sides......

I then referenced our struggles against Sheffield W and Plymouth under Enzo both promoted sides that season.....

But ok mate nothing to do with promoted sides.....:appl:

Go and have a wank or something you'll free less angry....

On the booing- very few of the ****s who got us into this mess are left now. We've got a team full of academy lads doing really well and for them to be subjected to that is, frankly, an absolute disgrace.

A lot have been calling for more academy lads to play, and I think generally those players have done well. But one thing it will likely mean is the odd error, not quite getting things right etc, from players who are learning. We absolutely need to be patient because of this. It's a horrible environment for these players who don't deserve it.

Problem is that owners and higher ups have taken no accountability and there's a manager in place nobody wanted. Unfortunately that anger spills out in the only way it can.

If you are having a conversation, exclusively about promoted sides, why is he talking about Burton.

It’s a bit of nonsense point anyway they clearly are not good results and don’t have over 20 wins in the win column to over shadow them.

Never said they were good results yawn!

Well what point are you making then. I am just seeing a lazy comparison between a very good Ipswich side and Notts County with all the context stripped out of it to try and defend a run of shite results.

Bristric not putting himself about is wrong. If you watch him he makes countless runs and no one plays him in. All the play goes through the wingers and it's not his fault we aren't direct. Agree with the rest.

Maybe that's not the right phrase to use.

I thought there were plenty of times where he made the wrong movement in the box and he was often nowhere to be seen when you'd want your striker to be on the end of a cross.

He got across his man once and it led to the big chance that Cullen missed.

Made plenty of movement to try and get the ball played in behind but in terms of getting on the end of crosses in the box he was left wanting massively IMO.

I thought we were quite good. But to be that dominant and not score is a worry.

We should look good against MK Dons.

It was undoubtedly better.

However the lack of quality in the final third was very evident as you've said. And that's going to be a problem. Oxford and Stockport will be sterner tests than what we've had so far. The final ball's need to improve and someone needs to start finding the net.

I don't need defending anything to you or anyone else, its not that deep, it just chatting about football.

Should we be doing better 100%.

Is it a given promoted should be beaten, no.

Shit happens.

If you are angry about the result, have a beer or a wank rather than getting angry on a forum.

You'll feel better

I think Bristic has some good qualities but we will not get promoted if he’s our only recognised striker on the books.

Their CB’s at times easily marshaled him off the ball and he appears to have a habit of going down very easily.

I’d like to see whoever is playing in the 10, to get much closer to him though as he was an isolated figure too much for me.

MK Don's thought they were playing 2019 Leicester.  Insanely passive performance,  Paul Warne goes on the list of managers I never want.

Thought the young lads looked tidy.

As expected we look nothing like a team going places under Russell. I'll just keep enjoying the predictable as it goes along.

Not angry in the slightest it's to be expected more than anything else these days, someone told me Leicester -1 was a steal at 5/1 before kick and told them to put down their crack pipe. No confidence in getting three points today at all.

One does not have to be angry to point out someone is talking utter rubbish which you most def are. No one has said it should be a given to beat anyone all he literally said was Notts County Away, MK Dons away, and Burton at home yielding two points is not a good sign. Which it is not, he's very correct.

You've come in with lazy unthoughtful comparisons in which you've basically admitted you have no underlining point and instead of just taking it when being called up on it, have carried the conversation on and are now acting like a 12 year old.

I wasn’t against Martin getting the job particularly considering the division we are in but then I also enjoyed Enzo’s style of play!  I don’t agree that nobody wanted him.

The passing style of play that Martin uses ultimately suits the young lads we have that people have been desperate to see play - Braybrooke, Joseph, Page, , Alves, Howell, Watson, Aluko etc. These young lads aren’t built for percentage get it forward hoofball. If you want the kids to play then accept this is the way it is.

I'm a lot more positive after that and actually quite enjoyed watching us- funny how people can perceive things completely differently.

On another day, that's a fairly comprehensive and comfortable win. Joseph and Braybrooke were excellent.

I get what you mean with this .. it was good to finally see a team putting in effort, just that attacking quality we lack

We really need to be starting with Alves though, he's our best winger in my opinion.

I agree the academy lads shouldn't be booed .. from where I was sitting the booing was more at the style of play rather than the individuals

I liked Admirs link up play, just needs that sharpness around the penalty area, but he's got the hunger.

Page, Joseph and Sammy are the stand outs along with Alves when hes on. I actually though Thomas looked decent at cb too.. didnt miss Skipp at all

I tell you one thing pal, we looked a lot better at the back without Okoli didn’t we?

If Alves, Howell and Bristric aren't the front 3 on Tuesday then we may as well call it a day

We gained some real insights from the Ipswich game and didn’t implement them.

That said at least he has realised that Braybrook and page are starters.

Second half effort and performance deserved a goal or two really.  Another day (or maybe a different striker !) and we get a couple.

Still not enough urgency for my liking and im thinking my biased "we are leicester city, we should be p*ssing all over these" attitude needs changing.  Its clear we aren't head and shoulders above the opposition like we were last time we were in this division.

As a side note.  Wtf was all that about getting into the ground? 1130 we got in the queue....got in at 12:10.   Ive got into a sold out wembley quicker!

Baffling it was only me apparently seeing it ay lol

Skipp and no Thomas at LB meant less balls bing sent back for Okoli to give away.  Other than Jakobs brain freeze running out and not clearing the ball, we didn't look too chaotic at the back which makes a change.

Reid stinks it out the game every time he touches the ball, hopefully this is the next change Martin makes.

Burns and Chaplin were looking for each other and seemed to work a few times but they also get no extra support and runners like they would've got at Ipswich. Get a meat and potato winger in but then offer no overlaps and no forward who wants to get in the box.

Skipp & Okoli cannot play again.

Yes the result wasn’t what any of us wanted, but it was one of those games where it didn’t go our way, I liked the way we moved up the pitch with SB & LP pulling the strings.
