The People's Hero Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 It was only a matter of time before CL was going to put that right. He was cut short in his prime.. his dream of twenty five games without a win, cruelly denied to him by a board which suddenly and unexpectedly grew some balls. Having said that, I don't want Gary Mac either.
Phube Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Colin Gibson has just thrown his hat in the ring!!! On RL!!
UndercoverBlue Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 if all goes well, john gregory will be paraded on thursday as the new leicester city manager.
Babylon Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 if all goes well, john gregory will be paraded on thursday as the new leicester city manager. And i'll be walking on Mars later tonight.
syston_fox Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Lee Philpott and Julian Watts dream ticket. Oh yes. Junior Lewis as a coach?
syston_fox Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 if all goes well, john gregory will be paraded on thursday as the new leicester city manager. So will I!
lesta fox Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Bring in Peter Reid and Gary Mac on 6 month deals, if they keep us up and they do well, keep them. If not, grab someone else. That's who i would have. I think that both of them together would make a combination and keep us up.
Bluefoxtim Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Brian Little talks sense on the radio! ok maybe not... but seriously do you think it will be one of the managers mentioned here? 90% of the time new managers are ones that no-one has mentioned
Northants Fox Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 So will I! Couldn't be any worst than the last one mate
l444ry Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Only as assistant to ROI, hardly taxing for him. I bet he'd be tempted. WE've got a decent set up ,very good set of youngsters and he'd be hugely flattered as i'm sure he's convinced that everyone thinks he's past it. I think you'll find he's a little bit higher than assistant.
Petrov19 Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Wouldn't suprise me if he, Robbo and Wally took over at Leicester now. MON is still obviously caring for his sick wife and wouldn't attend training most days but he trusts John Robertson and Steve Walford. If you would accept him doing the job part-time and only signing on short term then I think it could be a go-er.
syston_fox Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 John Robertson on a short term deal? He's working with O'Neil and knows the club....just an idea
marko Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 Wouldn't suprise me if he, Robbo and Wally took over at Leicester now. MON is still obviously caring for his sick wife and wouldn't attend training most days but he trusts John Robertson and Steve Walford. If you would accept him doing the job part-time and only signing on short term then I think it could be a go-er. It would surprise me LOTS

stez Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 leicester was a career step up for him why in the hell would he come back? he still talked about sheff utd the day he left

teblin Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 I would def go for the other 2 even if martin doesn't want it!!!
Petrov19 Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 leicester was a career step up for him why in the hell would he come back? Family circumstances. At the moment he could only take a part-time job and it would up to you to accept that. He realised last season that Celtic was too big a job to only do on a part-time basis. Maybe Leicester would be different, maybe not.

Burnsy Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 My m8 steve orme manager of saffron dynamo cant do any worse then CL
Petrov19 Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 John Robertson would be great He's got a 100% record as a manager! MON was banned for two games vs Porto and Stuttgart and Robbo & Wally took the team for both and we won them.
