if you get booked in two matches in the champs league you miss the next game through suspension. but once you’ve been booked twice and suspended for a game it gets reset to zero.

so any important first team players who’ve been booked once in the group stage so far can get themselves booked in this round of matches, be suspended for a dead rubber last group game and then start the important knock outs with 0 yellow cards and a lot less chance of missing an important second leg through suspension.

de bruyne’s booking was stupid last night, obviously did it on purpose. and carvahal got booked for time wasting. they were winning 6-0.

blind, valencia and young are all on one booking for united in this group stage, so assuming they’re on course to finish top of the group with tonight’s results, they’ll presumably be sent out by Jose to pick up a “cheap” yellow card to clear their record for the big games coming up.

obviously not certainties, and some bookies are wise to it, but there’s sometimes decent prices out there on players who’s only aim for the night of football is to get booked (like KDB last night).

Nelson Semedo is 10/11 on Sky Bet. Yet on William Hill he's 2/7.

Isn't it three bookings rather than two?

aye apparently it is. who knew. sure it used to be 2? or I might’ve just made that up lol

yeah exactly, some bookies just chop it cos it’s probably going to come in, some will price up every game pretty much the same based on match prices/overall booking expectancy when clearly there’s anomolies in these type of fixtures.

Bloody Hell Scouse, I hope it is two now cos you sounded so sure! I've gone on Pique to get a yellow.

Didn't matter mate. I'd doubled it with Atletico -2 corner handicap. Corners were 4 Atletico but 2 Roma

My betting luck really does stink. It usually does.

Is that luck or just a really weird bet to have

I'd say bad luck. Atletico were always gonna take it to Roma. They had to win.

On another day it'd have come in easy.

For all the Belarusian league enthusiasts here

Final game of the season. You have Slavia 6/1 to win away at Torpedo and it should be enough to keep them up as the two teams directly above them play each other (both 13/8 to win)

Three way battle for the title, all away to midtable sides and around about 1/2 on to win

Brazil - Atletico GO relegated with anything but a win, 4/1 away at Gremio

Leicester not winning cost me £220 and looks as though Chelsea are gonna cost me £300 assuming Amiens hold on to their one nil lead at bottom of the league Metz and psg beat Monaco tomorrow:whistle:

Copenhagen are 33/1 to win the Danish league after a pretty shit start. 14 pts behind Brondby already but that weird league system European countries have where the leagues split at the end of the main season has a funny knack of letting sides like this back into it if they were adrift at the start

Finally the last out of my 3 accas comes in!! (Well I assume it will, had to cash out for £3 less because it wasn't worth the risk with my luck:scarf:The other games in it were Man City to win and hertha Berlin to win

I fully expect Spurs to bounce back, but again, Watford at 4/1, at home, looks a bit of value.
