Just watched The Order on Prime staring Jude Law based on a true story set in 1983 onwards.

The Order stars Jude Law as a fictional FBI agent who leaves his family to track down a gang of white nationalists robbing banks and counterfeiting money. The Order was a real terrorist organization that existed briefly in the 1980s, led by Bob Mathews, who is played in the film by Nicholas Hoult. The Order's goal was for the Pacific Northwest states to secede and form a whites-only nation, free of Jewish people.

They based their beliefs on a book The Turner Diaries

Wife chose a film the other night for us to watch.  It was called "Blink Twice" with Channing Tatum.  What a terrible film - like one of the worst films I'd ever seen.

The following night, I chose a film - another slasher movie.  I thought that I would show her that selecting a random film would be better than the previous night's effort, so chose "Infinity Pool".  OMG, it was even worse.  Dreadful!  Avoid!

New football factory out in march similar cast called marching powder hopefully lives up to the first

It looks like a Danny Dyer parody, I can’t believe it’s real.

The Brutalist

great film

Saw it a couple of weeks ago, which is roughly as long as the film.

Thought it was phenomenal. But one for the cinema purists.

4 hours long, including an intermission. Beautifully shot. I don't think I ever felt bored.

This is the sort of CINEMA we've not seen for a very long time.

And I want more of it.

Lets face it, this masterpiece will never get a remake because any film maker would know they are onto a loser, it may be three quarters of a century old but it still looks amazing, have it on Bluray and the fact the monster was animated makes it all the more impressive.

Anyone watching the Oscars?

I usually see the nominated films after the show.

Did see that Kieran Culkin won for best supporting actor. Enjoyed 'A Real Pain', but he played the exact same character as he did in 'Succession'.

Watched Anora last night. Decent enough story, entertaining and errr… you know… visually impressive at times. But not quite sure how it won so many Oscars.

Not sure the Oscars can be used as a reliable guide

Just got back from watching the new Captain America

Not sure what it was about it but it just seemed so… meh

One of the worst post-endgame for me

Felt like it probably would’ve actually been better as a TV series, give us more about The Leader and Sidewinder (what a waste they were)

It was poor. Really crap bad guy and the only interest was Red Hulk, which we knew was going to happen any way.

Antony Mackie is just so bland too.

Probably should've just been a season 2 of his show and then ended it there with him being a "movie/tv lead"

Do you have to have seen the previous 16 to understand what was going on?

I remember seeing Stephen Fry presenting an award for Zero Dark  Thirty and he started with something like “having not seen any of the previous 29 films in the Zero Dark franchise…”

I’ve struggled for most of this phase of Marvels, maybe everything since End Game actually.
