Yeh the book is supposed to be better, the film is supposed to be about Tranmere Rovers but no mention of them in the film, strange.

Incredible really given how important the locations are in the book and one of the main centrepieces being a day out in Wrexham. :rolleyes:

I watched Poseidon last night, the remade version out a few years ago.

Despite the poor reviews, I didn't think it was that bad!!

Welcome back, Quentin: I've been waiting for Inglourious Basterds all summer, saw it today and I enjoyed it immensely.

However, I wonder who was really supposed to deliver that last line in Basterds: Brad Pitt or Tarantino... if it's really a subtle boast by the latter, well I still think Pulp Fiction is his chef d'œuvre. ;)

Got that Swedish vampire film tonight. Shall be interesting....I am not a massive horror fan.

Superb. One of the best films I've watched all year.

Beautiful scenery, the horror wasn't forced and it's film which doesn't fit drama. Great watch.

I watched sex drive last night on my new favourite internet tv site:

Just plays back to back movies.

Anyway to the film, I thought it was one of the better teen road trip comedies out there, mainly because amongst all the nudity etc it did have an underlying story.

Feast of cinema this week, Inglorious Basterds, The Final Destination 3d and im sure ill find something else to watch.

Road Trip: Beer Pong

Same basic plot as the first film and made funnier by the lack of Tom 'Gurning' Green. Enjoyed it.

Watch 'Waiting'.

There is a second called 'Still Waiting' not as good but still decent.
