The People's Hero Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Turns out, MM was only buying the club for a crack at Gareth Williams' (his worms) sweet, tight a-hole... so he's now buggered off to buy Watford. fook.
Daggers Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Dave, your wasted on here son. The idea was all Bertie's
Dames Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Could you do like Tim Davies super imposed onto a picture of scrooge, i think thats rather fitting.
potter3 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 I think its a good, deal. But does this mean well give King a chance or will it be a Hughes - Johnson - Weso/Tiatto - Porter midfield? If not we need to get one in.
dandannieldanok Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 This transfer is a disgrace. I know a lot of you don't think he tries but what can you do with a load of morons playing next to you. He was the only one in the squad with any quality in his passing, at time technically brilliant. I am very disillusioned, what is happening to the club. The feckers wont get me paying my money to go and watch Stephen Hughes and Andy Johnson playing in midfield.
Fox in a Box Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Undisclosed fee, does this mean if we have to pay 15% to florists we dont have to tell them and give them 22.5p and tell them we sold him for 1.50 ????????
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Please lets not get Horsfield, crap at Leeds so why should he be any better here. Nice sig Dan.

I've been every game except for Southapton since then, and he was between shocking and poor in every game. Midplaced passes almost every time (which is supposed to be what he was good at) took to long on the ball most of the time, and was generally poor.
Sods Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Who have we got in midfeild who is creative now! Noone, c'mon city sort it out if we going to get anywhere we need to keep the decent players. De anyone notice that rob said it gives him a chance to bring in some new faces Which means more than one.
dandannieldanok Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Nice sig Dan. Feck off , will be changed in due course

If not we need to get one in. I'd fancy a Hughes - Johnson - Porter midfield on a line, with Hume playing in his preferred "sandwich" position.

The feckers wont get me paying my money to go and watch Stephen Hughes and Andy Johnson playing in midfield. He was always looking for the long pass in recent weeks and ignored the simple short pass. Three quick, short passes can be more useful than an attempted cross-field ball to Alan Maybury. I saw the build-up to our second at Cardiff the other day and it came about due to some quick movement of the football not dithering about trying to spot a team-mate on the other side of the field who can't do anything with the ball when they get it. He has some ability, that's not a debate, but there's no point having ability if you can't be arsed to put it to good effect. Might get a bit more time on the ball in the Premiership which could suit his style of play but the pretty boy stuff ain't always the best way in the Championship.
Simi Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 i don't mind him going, aslong as a midfielder is coming in. Which probably wont happen.
Leonisco Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Great, now we have absolutely zero creativity from midfield. Levi won't be the same player because Gazza's ability to pass it out wide to him was a major factor in his recent good form. I expect this'll mean Hughes will be moved into centre mid, which will leave a gap on the right, which, knowing Rob, will mean Maybury or Stearman are gonna be put there, which leaves us devoid of any attacking play down that side. So, with this one transfer move, we've pretty much lost all our potential creativity on the right, the left, and in the centre. Fookin great. <_<

Good job AJ has got himself fit isn't it?

Milan-is-a-leicester-fan Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Thing what has p*ssed me off about the deal is that the club accepted the offer! not rob kelly the club, we've let go of 4+ players and not one single one has been brought in its ridiculous where is the money going?......bottom line is we have no money, no hope and if Milan doesn't buy us we will be in this position or worse 10 years from now
Leonisco Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Just what I'm thinking. Good job AJ has got himself fit isn't it? Ah, I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks for making me feel even worse. <_<

The People's Hero Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 How could you forget ATJ and his wonderful burgers? She makes a good point...
Leonisco Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 How could you forget AJ? I think it's like when bad childhood memories are repressed by your subconscious only to re-surface again 20 years later in dreams. Or have I been watching too many movies?
MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Just what I'm thinking. Good job AJ has got himself fit isn't it? It's all a cunning conspiracy, tell thee.
The Stig Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Bye Bye Williams Bye Bye Championship Bye Bye Takeover Bye Bye Money Bye Bye any half decent players in our team Bye Bye any hope of getting Premiership football at the Walkers for at least the next decade.
