Stevosevic Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 surely if we bombarded the club with e-mails stating we do not want Wortho here full-time they wont appoint him. Milan is a chairman that listens, lets use that to our advantage.

I don't really like it, but if we stay up then that's fine by me. It's not like he's definitely going to be here come the end of the season for sure.
Simon Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Give this man a biscuit! Are there any Ginger Nuts on offer?
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Errrr. No. Don't be such a child, Worthington's here 'til the end of the season and that's that. I'm just worried he'll do well, Milan will appoint him give him money, he'll be crap, Milan will sack him, next manager will be just as bad. Rinse and repeat for 5 years and what do you have, oh Milan Mandarics time as owner at Portsmouth.

Master Fox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Nigel Worthington reminds me of someone that would have breath that smells like dog sh*t.
Tommeh Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I've only read two pages of this thread, but FFS give the bloke a chance, hes not who I wanted in an ideal world but its only for 5 games, so lets just see how he does.
Daggers Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I'm just worried he'll do well If Wortho pulls 10 points or over from the remaining games I'll have his babies.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 better than where we were heading under Rob. Not exactly the point is it, get rid of one duffer to hire a slightly older more experinced duffer. Not good. I'll give him a chance for the five games obviously he's going to have to get us a win from somewhere, but even if he does win all five I wont want him on a permanent basis. He's another manager that wanted to sign Scowcroft as well, never a good sign. Still could be considerbly worse, could be Peter Reid we're talking about.

BigmanLee Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I think he will do well, At least it's the man Milan turned to!!!
lookwhaticando Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I swear some of you have been drinking some funny water this morning. ****s sakes. You either trust Mandaric to do the right thing for the club (and by that, I mean a football club and a business) or not. If you don't trust him, you shouldn't have supported his bid for control to begin with. Mandaric has a strong incentive to do well at Leicester - he wants success as much as we desire success as fans. Success here will make him significantly richer and a hero of the fans. He loves all that. If Mandaric thinks Worthington is the way forward (which he hasn't indicated, yet) then so be it... we have to go along with it. You may not like Worthington, but if Mandaric thinks Wortho has what it takes to be successful, then you have little choice but to grin and bear it. Mandaric is the chairman and money-man... you can't have his money and not his decisions, it doesn't work like that.
Master Fox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I think he will do well, At least it's the man Milan turned to!!! I agree with this point. Anyone else agree?

I get your point, it could have been a hell of a lot worse given Milans track record of appointing managers.
Milky Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 nigel worthingtons blue n whiye army!dont fit so just get rid of the nigel bit for gods sake it's not hard is it
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I get your point, it could have been a hell of a lot worse given Milans track record of appointing managers. I dunno, I think this one has the potential to be added to the track record. Milan Mandarics honeymoon period will be very over if we get relegated now thats for sure, it's a bold move he's taken. It'll no longer by RK's fault we went down in the eyes of Joe Leicester fan, it'll be his.
Phube Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Again I'm in awe of some people's weird attitude on this forum?? Everyone seems to want a manager (who's just been sacked for lousy results) who has achieved precisely nothing in the world of football management, apart from survival. And yet they're moaning about us appointing a man (for 5 games) who has got a team promoted from the division we are currently in!???
Head Honcho Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I can understand MM giving Worthington until the end of the season but I'm gonna pray from now until the end of the season that it will be a big thank you and goodbye at the end of it.
cityangel Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Hiya I'm a Norwich fan. Nigel Worthington - Oh Dear

Phube what do you think really is the most a manager like Chris Coleman could achieve at a team like Fulham in the Prem, because personally I'm thinking about ninth place finish
Milky Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Hiya I'm a Norwich fan.Nigel Worthington - Oh Dear hey, welcome, tell us about his tactics please.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Hiya I'm a Norwich fan.Nigel Worthington - Oh Dear He'll tell you how bad he is!
davieG Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Appointing a good manager is a lot down to luck, the best thing we can say about today is that decisions have been made that has to be better than doing FA.
Master Fox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Hiya I'm a Norwich fan.Nigel Worthington - Oh Dear We love him and think he's the best.
