It's been a great run this season, bound to lose eventually. No surprise that it's come at Northampton as our record there is terrible. Northants look like they have a very T20 good side this season, whereas we are missing too many key players, I think.

Took me a while but found it on Northants stream.

Good effort from the bowlers.

Their commentator, Rowe I think, is an absolute bell end

Thankfully we haven’t destroyed our net run rate which was a distinct possibility at 39-7.

Very good point. I thought the boys performed very well with the ball and showed that there really was two sides in this game. It’s not a disaster. Playing T20 is like crossing a minefield.

Shocking batting performance from our top order. I do hope this isn't a sign of things to come!

The batting line up is weak in this competition and it’s likely we’ll struggle but it’s important we stay behind the lads. Promotion in the CC is the overwhelming priority right now.

Exactly this

We’ve had our fun in this competition in recent times and hope it happens again in the future, likewise the one day cup.

But come late September, at the very same ground we lost at today we could be crowned County Champions / Promoted

Has to be all eggs in that basket now surely

Alfonso called the pitch unfit for T20 cricket in his interview. It was far too bowler friendly. I don’t think the batsmen were to blame.

Especially when you consider there was 4 innings played on it today and not one of them went over 123! The batting line up is absolutely fine we’ve got players who have scored 100’s, 50’s etc.

This was always my worry with this batting line up. How many times last season did Rehan and Goldsworthy stabilise us after an early collapse?

Once, against Notts. The batting isn’t an issue. As seen on Friday night. The problem last season was that we couldn’t take the wickets.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. Northants just weren't taking any risks and they didn't need to. They were always in full control.
